Paypal Limited problem

I got my paypal account limited because I and a business friend of mine were using the account , and they saw two different IP's access the account. Anyways , to get the limit remove i have to to do three steps. Change my password Change question (i think) and the last Confirm location I have done step 1 and 2 , but i'm having a problem with the last step. When i click Resolve on Confirm location it takes me to add a credit card / debit card page. Alright so i add my credit card , then it says you account is limited you cannot add a credit card. What!!!! How can i confirm location if i cant add credit card to remove limit. This doesn't make sense.

Are you sure that it is a legit email from paypal? I check my paypal account from more than one IP and have no problems. The best way to get issues resolved is to contact paypal over the phone. They are probably closed for the night, but they open at like 5am PST.

It says it directly on the account that its limited , so i know its not a scam. I still haven't heard anything , but they probably don't answer emails on the weekend , hopefully i hear from them soon. If not i might have to call them.

Don't waste your time waiting for an email response. You are much better calling. Normally there is almost no wait time and they handle the problem immediately.

Lol... they asked for credit card and then says cannot add credit card... that was questionable. Anyway, there are many peoples faced same problem and the most important thing is, you write an email to paypal. I'm very sure that they will reply you. Good luck.

I emailed them yesterday about the problem and have no heard anything. This totally doesn't make sense , how can i fix my account if i cannot add a credit card. I would abandon the account but its got funds in it that i would like.

You might need to email them about the problem. I had this happen to me A LONG time ago. but I think I just ended up getting a whole new paypal account. hopefully someone can help, but if not you should try emailing them and telling them or call.
