An earthquake ranked 7.8 class broke out in Sichuan province about 16pm or so yesterday. It has been the biggest the earthquake i have heard in china .When my pal filled me in on this shocking news , i was totally taken aback .I dare not to imagine the miserable result. It's reported that over 10,000people have lost their lives in the catastrophe, the statistic keeps renewing every minutes .More and more death will add to it .Where there were once perspective cities ,there are all in ruin .The loss is hard to calculated . I sincerely hope that rescue is quick enough and available to those who are still struggling in the ruin . God bless them !

Me to extend my deepest sympathy and support for the people who have been the victim of this dreadful earthquake. Science has developed so much but yet we fail to predict occurance of earthquake. It is an absolute pang to go through the news flashes depicting the pictures and statistics of damages that go on increasing every other second. In our country, Government has framed a policy - 'Disaster Management Policy' to combat natural calamities. Lots of trainings are conducted round and year and seminars, and conferences are held with promises and assurances to chalk out strategies to reduce the losses to bare minimum. But then again, the disasters like this one continue to claim lives unresistant. All we can expect at this stage is to reach the effected people at the earliest with necessary supports, and to initiate rescue operations without any delay. Let the normalcy be restored at the earliest.
