I finally got my hands on Zelda for the ds. Yes I know I am a bit behind on things. I was so disappointed. The whole games moves so slow, long boring stories everywhere! No matter how hard i try i just can make my spin attack effective! What did you think of it?

I really love the zelda series. I remember playing late into the night trying to beat the bosses for my son so he would be happy the next morning. He also had nightmares of the moon falling on him from one of the games and thoses creepy zombies that attach to you and suck off all of your life. thanks for responding and sorry my reply is way over due. Its been a real busy time in this house lately :)

I loved that game. I just beat it again recently too. The game speeds up after a little while, trust me. I really enjoy it. You also have to keep in mind that it is a ds/portable game. They did what they could, and I think they did it well. It was meant to be played as a portable adventure, something that the Zelda franchise in my opinion hasn't done a very good job of. Overall, I do like the game. Keep practicing, you'll get that spin attack!

I quite playing because the small screen is just not right for me. WE camp evry week and now I just take a flat screen tv (thank goodness they have managed to make a quality ty that is light enough to carry with one hand) and our wii. (some will say thats not camping). My son traded the zelda game for broken amp..kids! Thanks for taking the time to add your comment. i really appreciate it!

I loved Phantom Hourglass. It was amazing, It had all the amazing zelda charm and a unique way of using almost all of the DS functions. I thought it was great :D

I haven't played a lot of it, but it seems pretty fun. When you get the hang of the controls, I think you'll like it better. It took me awhile to figure out how to roll while moving.

I think I found my problem with the hole game. The ds is just way to small for me to play. I need a much bigger screen in order for me to feel really "into" the game. I have set the ds aside for now and will wait for the wii to come up with another "hit". Thank you for taking the time to comment and I am sorry I have been really slow to get back to mylot. Have a great saturday night!

I think you took it hard for you becoz of DS touch screen really bothers you a lot from which you're used to play zelda series using standard controllers. I'm a zelda frantic gamer and I've played some of the series just using an Emulator for DS, NES, SNES, Gameboy, Gameboy Advance, and N64 only. The Zelda for DS looks fine for me even I'm just using a DS emulator, like you I can't make my spin attack much in use at first, you just need to draw a circle as fast as possible, very fast as possible I think. You can make it fast than doing it on mouse pointing just be patient ^^ I'm having fun with the stylus/touch screen gaming. I haven't finished the game yet.

heres my two cents(maybe this will also earn me two cents XD) i bought phantom hourglass kind of worried that the touch screen controlls might not be very good and that it may sometimes mistake moving as a sword strike and this has not happened to me one time after i fully beat the game the sailing is alot better in this game then in windwaker because it isnt as long and there is more stuff on the way plus the top screen being a map is nice so you dont have to keap opening it also it is cool that you can simply draw out your route and shoot on your way intead of keaping to have to turn the winds my only real complaint is how short ths game is a beat it very quickly and there isnt much to do afterwards but it was a great game but its no ocarina of time DS

I thought it was pretty cool. Beat it twice with everything.
