Do you have to stare at a body part that is showing too much?

Hello Friends At my cousins wake there was a young woman that was well endowed in the breast department...She had on a nice sweater but had it unbuttoned at top so that everything except the nipple showed. Throughout the evening I watched how people would look by mistake and turn away embarrassed... It seemed that most people had a difficult time speaking to her... The only thought I had(being a bit large on top myself) is "you poor thing when they start to go south!" lol Any thoughts? xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo "A young lady went to a dance, and she had a low-cut, strapless gown on. Around her neck she wore a little golden airplane on a long chain. All night she noticed a young man, staring at her. In her embarrassment, she held up the airplane and said, "Oh, you like my airplane, huh?" The young man smiled mischievously. "No ma'am, I was just admiring the landing field."

Love the joke! I find myself staring at young, well-endowed women who look good in sweaters and t-shirts, wondering what kind of bra they use. I could use a good supporting bra as mine have gone south! LOL.

I don't. I do have stare at body parts but I always cover everything up. I do not go out and flaunt what I have. I think that is very demeaning to a woman when she does that. she is just begging for attention, if you ask me. I would never do that in a public place like that either. she will hate it when they start to head downwards LOL. I bet she really liked that the guy made a comment about them also.

Not sure about demeaning, but I kinda like a guy to like me for who I am, what I have to say, what I believe in, what makes me laugh, not for things like that. Chaknow?

I wonder if the joke was based on a true story - you're referring to the girl in the airplane joke? Hey is that your dog in your avatar?

hehe i like the joke you shared with is.... anyway i think when you are "blessed" in that department... you should choose your outfits too.. also the lady in the wake should have known she would be looked at whether intentionally or not... she should be sensitive enough right...?

Exactly. And there are many women who get really mad at guys for staring at their chest instead of at their face - when they're wearing a low cut blouse or shirt. Or a shirt a few sizes too tight.

Being rather well endowed, I wonder whether the cleavage I see can be seen by others. Yet I do not want to wear my blouses or cardigans buttoned up to my neck I do have a large neck by the way, and I do not want to stick to turtle necks and crew necks. So I am at a quandry, do I choke myself, do I get a surgeon to take and reduce my bosom (and it does not hurt) and it seems if I do wear covered up clothes, people wonder why I do that? I would feel uncomfortable if more than an inch of cleavage showed. I wonder if even that is immodest.

Oreo! I bet if you chose it was pretty! Suspenseful, I happen to love the look of turtlenecks, kinda artsy, however, I realize most don't like them. I can see your quandy. I bet the operation might be covered by insurance if you get pins and needles in your hands a lot and your back hurts from your chest.

That's funny. I don't want to stare that much causing the person to ask me why I did it. Well, for things like that, they really make people look at them. I will just probably turn away after watching it a couple of times.

If I was asked then I would say because they're hanging all out there for the world to see. Consciously or unconsciously asking the world to look.

Well she should have opted for some better costume rather than exposing the higher part which always make them embarrased. People who ever watch that they might enjoy or may feel awkward since not every one will like seeing exposed parts. I personaly wouldnt suggest such type of dress so that you wont end up feeling embarrased at the end of the day.

I'm not sure she or others who make the choice to dress this way are embarrased its others who are embarrassed by it. I don't know anyone who dresses like that who feels embarrased. I don't personally dress this way, because I see no need to. I'd prefer people focus on other things about me. A sense of mystery is just as attractive or more attractive then leaving nothing to the imagination.

Lol whenever I see stuff like that, I usually notice it right away (since it usually is pretty obvious), and then I try to avoid looking as much as possible. I am pretty shy and get embarassed easily, so I always feel kind of awkward in situations like that.

I like that response. If you don't want it looked at, cover it up Maggiepie's grandmother used to have a saying - "What they don't shows, they points too." This referes to what people wear.

LOL Well Mom I spent the first 27 years of my life flat chested in the extreme and then up popped a chest! lol I love wearing low cut tops etc but I am probably not as well endowed as this young lady was! i find it quite funny when men speak to my chest rather than to me but there are exceptions to that ! xxx

Unfortunately, I too am well endowed. I absolutely loath it. It is uncomfortable, hot and embarrasing! Don't get me wrong...I am not a large woman. I am 136 pounds and 5 ft 6 inches, but I wear a 38C. Even with modest clothing, there are always the men who look...just a glance, but it is enough to make me feel self conscious. Moms should teach their little boys to focus on a womans face and not on their chests.

Hi raydene! haha..That is a good one! I am really laughing with that landing field joke. I am very careful with the way I dress since I don't like people staring at my body parts. It is embarrassing! And I don't stare either but sometimes, I can't help but glance sometimes. haha..It is also embarrassing when you get caught. haha.. Take Care and God Bless! Happy Mylotting!

A smart answer but seriously for me, no. Its rude to keep staring at a person much so at a crtain part of that person. Woman in sexy dresses shouldn't be judge they should be admired. ^^

I see young girls dress like that all the time. i always tell em stuff like, looks like ur havin a hard time keeping things in there. They also wear short shirts skirts and shorts. It's like they are tryin to show everybody their everything. Guess what girls??? Nobody wants to see all your everything. Cover it up. A lady doesnt do that. Those girls are the ones who will get the worse sunburn. How painful that must be to have ur boobs all burnt up. I keep my stuff covered and dont get burned. But go ahead girl expose ur stuff, het burned , u'll look like dried beef jerky later.
