I'm afraid of the flood, because I can't swim. So which one are you afraid of the earthquake, flood, tornado, fire,or hurricane.

I've been through hurricanes, I've been through blizzards, and ice storms, and tropical storms, and lightening and hail storms, and even a near-tornaod (we could watch one forming in the sky -very scary! Thankfully, it didn't completely form until it move wayyyyy north of us, and touched down. No one was hurt - thakn God!) I've also witnessed a funnel cloud, which was really pretty - it was gold because the sun had just come up and it had just rained, and the funnel cloud was over the water - nothing to be scared of. However, I've never been through a full-fledged tornado, and I hope to God I never have to - I don't think I would survive. Knowing that my home could be blown away (even if it's new) just scares the sh*t out of me! At least with hurricanes, you're only S.O.L. if your home's structure is too weak. Hopefully, no one's home is in that bad of shape, and hopefully they've had things repaired since the last major hurricane. But to sum things up, my answer to your question is tornadoes. Definitely tornadoes!

I am most afraid of fires and tornados. I just have this fear that I wouldn't be able to get out of the house.

Fire cause the pain is slow n the most hurting, in the other cases one might die at once but fire kills slowly....

Tornado's scare me the most. I have been around hurricanes my entire life so they aren't that scary to me. I have never been in an earthquake but we get small ones around our home in California. I am visiting my parents and my in-laws in the Southern United States right now and it seems like every other day there are tornadoes. It really scares me to think about how unpredictable they are and how they hit one house and leave the next one alone. The sirens are enough to send me into a panic.

You should mention Blizzards, I'm from NY and they talk about the Blizzard of 77 as if it were Armageddon... Tornadoes, I would love to see one, but I've never been in one, I've heard from people who've seen them that they are absolutely crazy...there is nothing you can do, but hope it doesn't come your way....
