We have most of our "garden" planted. We do container gardening as the "soil" sand here in FL is not to great. We have tomatoes, onions, peppers, squash, cucumbers, pole beans, beets, and strawberries. We are waiting for 3 blueberry plants (dwarf variety) to arrive. So what are you growing?

I don't have much. Just lettuce and tomatoes. I'm planning on growing cucumbers and peppers. I wish I was in Florida. I used to live there and it was awesome.

It is nice to have such an extended growing season here (most things can be grown from September-february. Really we get such mild winters that you could just about grow all year long.

Only flowers and some "herbs", I'm afraid. I have African violets (two big ones and my third one ended up being propagated to try and "save" it), two cyclamens, one miniature rose, one kalanchoe, 12 freesias (in planters), three dahlias (in pots), one aloe vera (YAY!), one ginger, an onion (for spring onions the Chinese style) and an attempt to grow lemongrass. :) My mum who's coming in June will be arriving with chilli seeds - I'm hoping to add lavender to my "collection" as well. ^.^

We are going to start with our vegetable garden soon.We have a raised bed in our backyard. We will be planting tomatoes, cantaloupes, watermelons, peppers, okra, basil, mint, cilantro, eggplants and squashes. We also have a rose garden in our front yard. All the roseplants are having plenty of flowers this year. We have yellow, red, orange and pink ones. We also have two confiderate jasmin plants in our front yard. Their smell is so sweet. Our garden gets frequent visits from a rabbit though. Me and my 3 year old have fun to watch him but we'll have to be careful ones our vegetable garden is all done.

We are growing tomatoes, onions, bell and salad peppers, zucchini and summer squash, okra, romaine lettuce, swiss chard, spinach, cantalope, watermelon, cauliflower, and cucumbers. They are all doing very well. We are already bringing in squash and onions every day.

I am in Ky. I am planting two tomato plants as my finacee is not as fond of them as i am. One is grape tomato, and other is a beet steakmaster. So i say to him, "all for me, none for you", lol. Also, i am wanting to grow some small peppers, one is called red poppers, and the other are small yellow ones from burpees catalog. I will be growing some herbs too, some inside and 3 long trays for outside. I have 2 large lilac bushes, 2 butterfly bushes, 2 crape myrtles, spirea, large grape irises, sweetpeas, some climbing roses. Lish

THis year we only have tomatoes planted. I was going to try strawberries, too, but only two of our seeds sprouted, but both withered. It's my first year trying to plant food. Up until now, it has just been flowers and bushes. Next year, I'm going to try a few more vegitables.

I planted a blueberry bush, but my main garden i haven't planted yet. I plan to grow tomatoes, and anything anybody can recommend that doesn't need alot of water. We had a drought last year, and I wouldn't be surprised if it happens again this year.

We started a number of different herbs and vegetables from seeds and will be planting them in the ground the next couple of weeks. They've all done great. We have string beans, green and yellow squash, broccoli, cucumber, watermelon, pumpkins, oregano, rosemary, basil, and dill. Hopefully they do well once we plant them in the ground!!
