Raw fish is one of the most popular and delicious Japanese food. On my first visit to Tokyo, my Japanes friend took me to one restaurant, he said was a special one in the City. He suggested raw fish for dinner. I refused outright ! How can any one eat raw fish ? That was my feeling. So, I had fried fish. He had raw fish. When we went for dinner the next day, he suggested that I should atleast try raw fish. So, I did, because I didn't want to offend him. Oh my god, it was so tender, so tasty, and so delicious ! From that time on, raw fish became one of my favorites ! Have you tried raw fish ? Try it. I mean it. It's really very delicious ! Ofcourse , you have to take it with a special source !

I like this kind of food too especially when it's cook with vinegar for a while and served fresh. It's more desirable when it has so many spicies and chilli on it. Wow, yummy. My brother loves it too so sometimes we make our own at home.

All i could say to that is...ewww! Here in my country, eating raw fish is one of the most common thing to eat and sought after kind of menu. But I could really never bring myself to eat those raw fish. In every gathering or party, there is always a raw fish as part of the menu and even with lots of spices and some sauce added to it, I still don't eat it. I am pretty weird from where I come from but its just not my cup of tea so to say.

I have tried raw fish before but I didn't liked it at all. I feel like i can still smell the fishy smell of it. Even the ones that s cooked in vinegar, I don't wanna try it. I feel uncomfortable eating it.

Yes I like to eat raw fish especially salmon. It is also called "Sashimi" in Japanese. I used to be afraid of raw fish because I thought it would taste very bad until I tried it. I wouldn't eat it on its own without dipping into light sauce and wasabi. I also like Japanese style raw prawn.
