Did your TV show make it?

So this TV season has come to a close and networks have revealed some of the new shows for the fall, but also they have told us which TV shows have been canceled. Some of the canceled TV shows are Back to You, Shark, Aliens, New Amsterdam, Moonlight, Women's Murder Club, Men in Trees, and Cane. I didn't happen to watch any of those shows. I just started watching House, but I actually enjoy the reruns on USA more than the new episodes on FOX. Although last week's episode was pretty good. Some of the shows getting renewed are Scrubs (moving to ABC), The New Adventures of Old Christine, The Unit, How I Met Your Mother, Supernatural, Eli Stone, and Reaper. Again, these are just a few examples. Besides House I watch shows more along the lines of The Deadliest Catch, Project Runway, and Dirty Jobs. None of my shows were affected. Were any of yours?

It was on TVGuide's website as well as a couple others. As for Moonlight, they are trying to find it a new home. The creators are shopping it to the CW right now. Maybe it will find a new home?

The CW didn't pick it up, but at least the reruns might be getting a home. There is a rumor the sci-fi channel might get its reruns.

Oh good! I think CW would be a good station for Moonlight. It really was a good show, and I heard a lot of people watched, and enjoyed it. I hope it does find a new home!! *stupid cbs* lol

I have watched ever episode of House made and yes the show was alot better with the old team those would be the reruns you have been watching on USA but last weeks House was really good can't wait till Monday to see what happens!

Nope.. I watch a lot of news, and I don't think that will be slowing down anytime soon.. I still have two seasons of "24" to watch! I do catch "Gilmore Girls" and I think that's reruns, as I heard they did their last season last season(?) I've only been watching it for a short while so I likely have lots of reruns I could see.. Only other shows I like is Seinfeld, and we all know that's reruns. I really like NYPD! But lost track of it when we switched to satellite.. We watch a lot of whatever hubby watches! "Dirty Jobs" - "How it's Made" or something like that.. I really like "American Chopper"! The Tuttles are a riot.. but they do lots of good things too.. Don"t know if you've ever seen 'em.. they build Harleys. I like some of the other bike building shows too.. some compete.. And I like the channel RFTV, a real down home, farm life type channel..

Yeah, Gilmore Girls was over last year. My sister loves that show so much she has requested seasons of the shows on DVD for her birthday.

They ended not knowing if there was going to be another season, so it didn't end with a wedding for Luke and Lorelei. He forgave her for sleeping with Christopher and they ended up running to each other and kissing. So you got the feeling they made up and the wedding plans would be back on.

I think all of mine did. I watch Deal or No Deal, Don't Forget the Lyrics, and 48 Hr.s Mystery but most of the ones I watch aren't on the major networks. I love Naked Archaeologist, Ghost Hunters, UFO files and shows like that.

I do watch First 48 Hrs. I enjoy that show too especially when they are in Memphis. We live not too far from Memphis (about 80 miles) so some of the cases we have heard about on the news. There was one show on Ghost Hunters recently that kind of freaked me out too. It was the one at Wright Patterson Air Force Base where the flashlight was turning on and off.

Have you seen The First 48 on A&E? Just from the last couple shows you mention in your post, it seems like you might like that show. I love it. It's so funny, but the last time my mom watched Ghost Hunters she got so freaked out she won't watch it again. I called her one night, and she was all spooked out. Which is weird for my mom.

I already knew most of my favorites were coming back, like Brothers & Sisters and Desperate Housewives but I'm still waiting to hear about October Road. Last I saw it was "unconfirmed". Also, Friday Night Lights which I understand has been picked up but won't be back on for quite awhile. I'm so sick of the good shows going off so they can add more stupid reality shows! Annie

Yes, I just saw that too after I posted this. I can't believe they canceled it, leaving it up in the air like that. I wish they'd at least do a two hour finale and tie up the loose ends, of which there are PLENTY! Annie

Like several other people that responded, I really liked Moonlight and New Amsterdam. I still have episodes of New Amsterdam on the DVR that I haven't watched yet, and I'm going to watch them, even though it will be bittersweet knowing there won't be more.

Men in Trees was canceled because it kept moving days and times, so nobody had a chance to find it. I'm mad that it was canceled. I'm not happy about Shark, but it stood no chance when it moved to that bad time slot on Tuesday. It looks like Without A Trace will be next to leave CBS.

Every single show has been canceled in this time slot the last couple of years. I'm quite concerned, as really enjoy Without A Trace and there is a new show at 9:00pm. I sure hope I'm wrong this time. I'm wondering if contracts are up for renewal next season.

Nooo! Please tell me not Moonlight! I just watched to season finale last night, and now that I think of it, it would be a good place to end the whole story...but I don't want that!!!! (LOL, like I would ever have any say in it).

Well, hopefully the CW will pick it up. Moonlight's producers are shopping it around. Hopefully the fans will contact some networks requesting it gets picked up by them.

Moonlight :( I really liked that show. It was a neat idea and was well written. It kept you interested and it was funny too. Other than that nothing on your list really affected me. I liked men in trees a little, but i never really sat down to watch it much. I'm glad How I met your mother is sticking around. That show is very funny.

I'm still waiting to see if the shows that i like are coming back or not NBC/Heroes, Bionic women; CBS/Jericho, The Unit,; ABC/Eli Stone. I know some of them will not come back and this week they have been showing season finalies on the show that you know that are coming back in the fall. But the ones i have mentioned I'm not sure about. Especially Eli Stone now that was new but i liked it alot. Then the Samatha that is on ABC it's ok but i have not watched it much. Now for a while they will be throwing new might be shows until the fall season comes back what do you think.

I like to watch House, too - I think it can be kind of funny sometimes, but not quite as gory as er was. I agree with you for watching them on USA...I think I what I should do is probably rent the season discs and watch them that way, I'm always so behind since I never watch tv, lol. I've never heard of any of the cancelled shows. I was always a big fan of how i met your mother though...I'm glad it's still on another year, even if again i'm seasons behind, lol.

That is what I did with House. The DVDs usually contain 4 episodes each, and I like catching up that way. I just wish the show would go back to how good it was when it was only Chase, Cameron, and Foreman. I actually learned from House before. A family member had a disease they mentioned, and I got a 5 minute education of it on a TV show! Just to be sure I looked it up, and the show really does check out the facts before they write the scripts. I mean, I thought they would, but then again I heard once about how CSI made up something that couldn't happen in forensics.

I don't think they have even aired all the episodes they had of Men in Trees. I never saw it myself, but the big complaint from the makers of Men in Trees was that they kept moving the show on its schedule.

I love House and Scrubs and watch them when I can. I have watched Reaper a few times, it is okay. The other ones I don't watch my husband may since we don't like the same shows really we never watch much television together that is why I am online more then I watch television. Glad the favorites made i through though.

I think they got it right! Shark and Men in Trees got stupid. Back to You was not funny! New Amsterdam was a drag, as was Women's Murder Club and Cane. I do not believe How I Met Your Mother survives....not funny! 2 1/2 men -- still funny!

I love Moonlight, so it figures it would be cancelled. I hope it finds another place and stays on. CBS is so stupid. Where I live, everything on CBS (our local one) is taken off for sports (basketball and football, that is). They don't show half of them later, either. I loved having two shows to watch on Friday night. I love Ghost Whisperer and then Moonlight. I'm still p-ssed off about The 4400. It seems like the only things on that stay on are "reality" shows. And I hate those! There is a petition online for Moonlight, by the way. I have no idea what the address is...I just signed it and left.

What! They are axing Women's Murder Club? How dare they! That show was great. Really reinforced the area of work I want to go into (criminal profiling). Oh well, I'll just have to make do with Criminal Minds and the CSI's.

Thats a shame about 2 of those shows..I loved sitting down on a friday night and watching Ghost whisperer, then Moonlight and then Numbers..a good evening for me since i couldn't afford to go to the movies like alot on Fridays. But New Amsterdam was a great show too and it was nice hearing about his adventures from hundreds of years ago. I saw you mentiond Moonlight will hopefully get moved to another station.
