How many writing sites are you on?

I am on 5 different writing sites. Now if someone had asked me a year ago how many I would sign up and write on I would've told them only one. However, I have discovered that each site has its pluses and minuses. I love Helium for its great contests and other rewards but they do not make upfront payments. With the marketplace and contests though you can easily make up for that. With Associated Content I enjoy the upfront payments and page view payments. Those can all add up. I have found Triond to be a bit slower in making money but still a valuable tool in my writing. I also discovered ehow. I love it. In one day I submitted 7 articles and it was so easy. There are not minimum words per article and its fun to write about how to do something. What are your favorite sites and why?

I write for associated content and while i'm not making a ton of money on there I don't mind it! I did Helium briefly but decided it wasn't worth it at all because I wasn't making much money on there. With associated content at least they pay you - I made a whopping $1.87 last month but it's at least in my bank account already!

I've been on Helium for about one year. It can be a little slow and you're right about the marketplace making up for that. Plus, it's really hard to be in the top five to ten. I've read okay articles that were number one or two that should have been number fifteen. Have you seen this? I just recently signed up with Associated Content and I like how that is set up. I've been at ehow a couple of times. Does it pay for your writing too?

I write for Suite 101. I've been there for about a year. I guess its like Associated Content, but I think it might pay better. I'm not sure because I don't write for AC. In the year with Suite 101 I've earned just shy of $1,000 and I get paid each month. For more info on how they work check out this article: http://www.nojobformom.com/articles/suite101.shtml The requirements are that you write 10 articles in a three-month period of time, and the articles should be between 400 and 600 words. That's not tough to do at all. The great thing is that as long as your articles remain on the site, you keep getting paid.

I actually do a lot of writing, but mostly on my own websites and blogs. I do sometimes write for Gather and I also participate in a lot of forum sites on all different types of subjects and topics. I have two blogs, one's an art-related blog for my art and photography and the other is a blog that I keep in regards to all the paid sites I am trying out. I have one art-related website, too.

I've just found another site that pays you to write on forums, apparently people wanting to make their forum more attractive to people hire this site to send them people to post there and then the site pays them. I love posting on forums so it's an ideal job for me I hope my application gets accepted and the money is reasonable. The sites here if anyones interested. http://www.paidpostingtools.com/writers.asp

Have you been accepted? I submitted my application a week ago and no answer. So I guess my application was being rejected. How about you? Are you having any success?

I got accepted but haven't received any assignments from them yet, it did take a while before I got accepted too so you might still hear from them.

I don't belong to any writing sites unless myLot and Gather are considered writing sites. I do good to respond to discussions at both places and start a few discussions here and there. My mind is usually blank when it comes to topics to write about. But maybe one day my creative juices will stir and I can join one of the above mentioned writing sites.

I write for several of the sites you have mentioned. I have never heard of Triond. My favorite is AC, not for the pay but because I can write whatever I want and publish it instantly.

I can't write for Associated Content because it only accepts people in the U.S.A. I am trying to write a Helium article every day and I have sold one so far. I have reached minimum payout at Triond, which is only 50 cents! I enjoy Shared Reviews as much as myLot, but the best one for me is a British site which pays me for writing web content. I think it is good to write for different sites and earn money at all of them.

My favorite so far is Triond. I tried Helium but did not like its rating concept which is often abused. For AC, I do not qualify for upfront payment, so depending largely on performance payment, which is rather slow. eHow does not pay non-US citizens, so I don't qualify either. I recently heard of Suite101. I may try that.

I write a few articles on kiwibox.com but I don't write much on websites. I do plan on looking into some though.

I have seen and even joined most of those in the past month just to try them out. I think I found AC to be the best for the reasons you mentioned. I sold 3 articles right away and the minimum pay out per page view is rather to reach. I used a couple of other places to do reviews especially product reviews. They are just review sites and submitting stuff on those is as easy as it gets. Since I have only been on those for a bit I have not reached the payout yet, and on one I am not sure how they even award the money as it is based on site revenue earned for the month.

Hi pshiv, If you want your articles to be published in several sites, then submit to Triond first because they want the first rights to publish your article. Subsequently you can then publish at AC. That's what I heard some of them are doing. I'm considering whether to do the same.

I am a member of 3, but write to mostly AC. I'm a member of Trinod and Helium too, but don't write there much. I'd like to, but about every time I do, I get a rejection saying they found the same article on AC site... well of course they did... it's MY article, the same damn piece that I'm trying to put up at the other sites I write to!... my by-line and everything. so, I just stick with AC most of the time. I'm trying tho to squeeze thru some of my older pieces on the other sites tho, to see if they'll take them then, since they're older ones.

Would you mind to give names of the websites, and which is most recommended one. I have been a member in Helium and Gather. Please let me know. Thanks in anticipation.

Sure, not a problem. I am on Associated Content, Triond, ehow.com, Helium and greenthumbarticles.com. Each site has their plusses and minuses. AC will pay upfront for some articles. Triond, Helium and ehow pay differently and greenthumb has contests but no actual payments unless you win the contests. I have not tried Gather yet. I should look into that. Thanks for the reminder. :)

I'm on Helium, Constant Content, Triond and Associated Content. Hmm, noticed that nothing's been said for Constant Content so far. It's basically a 2-way marketplace. Companies can place a job they want and the amount they're paying and authors can also post their works and the amount they asking for there.

I am on two writing sites now, Associated Content and Review Stream. I like both very much. For now I do not have time for more. But, thank you for the information. I might join more in the future. Writing is my hobby actually. Have a nice weekend.

Hi, I am in Associated Content but I don't have many posts there. I use Triond and I have around 9 articles. I think Triond is a great site because I make money according to page views. Although I make money slowly from Triond but it is quite good.

I am a member of Associated Content, Triond and Review Stream. I have made the most money on Associated Content so far. I have only submitted photos on Triond so far. When I do feel like writing I usually choose AC.

Hello Countrymom. I am on several writing sites on the internet. Let's count them: Helium, Associated Content, Constant Content, PrintnPost, Triond, and xomba (no real writings on there). That is 6, although I feel the last one doesn't really count as I don't have even one page on there. I think I'm also registered on Squidoo, but boy, I never even finished developing my first lens. That is a lot of work! I used to be nuts on Helium but have been feeling pretty ripped off since the Rewardathon ended and they drastically dropped the rate of payments and thought no one would notice. My stars have since disappeared more rapidly than I could ever imagine. Your experience with ehow sounds quite interesting. I have checked that website out before, but not to any great extent. I guess I'm continuing to look for the website that will pay me what I think I'm worth. Or at least enough to make it interesting. Happy writing, Countrymom. PearlGrace

You are right!! I am into these sites you mentioned. They are really good. IN helium I am not putting much time in there. I have several articles there but I am not earning much, I;m not joining the contest though. Ehow also I have several articles but not active in there too. ehow is easier. I am also a content producer in associated but rest for a while because I am tired of waiting my articles to be approved it takes 2-3 weeks... so I tried another place to hang on,... then I found mylot. I am not earning much here like in other sites mentioned but I enjoyed the discussions and the people. Good luck to you.
