Neil Diamond Home Before Dark

Today I bought the Neil Diamond cd 'Home before Dark'.
It is one of the most amazing pices of music I have ever heard.
The song 'Pretty Amazing Grace' has ben played a lot on BBC radio in UK and is really good.
Have you hard this album and what do you think of it?
It is the first time in a 40 year career Neil Diamond has been No. 1 on the American Billboard album chart.

I haven't heard the album Michael. However, I started my popular music listening plugged into Radio Luxemburg in the early 70s on a huge old valve radio. "Sweet Caroline" seemed to be the only record played - of course it wasn't but that's my memory - and I grew to have a deep and abiding loathing of the song that has lasted to the present day. If it comes on, it gets switched off, or I leave the room. LOL. However, I can cope with most of his other songs.

Wow! I didn't think he was even still alive. I suppose that would be because he's of the music generation 2 before mine. Still, I prefer the music from yesteryear to the music of today. It holds more meaning and is still relevant to todays world.
Good on him for going No.1! Knock the newcomers over!
