United States and Iran... what is your opinion on this issue?

There is a lot of buzz about Iran... Some think that there is a bit of sabre rattling and that Bush and others are looking for an excuse to go to war against Iran. Some are making comments about those who would like to negotiate with Iran and with its neighbors who are all independent nation states both for and against. I wonder what you the myLot community think about this whole Iran-United States issue? Has it influenced at all your support or lack of it of any political candidates? What is it that Iran and the United States can do to avoid a conflict in the future? If you were in charge, what would you do to deal with this problem?

I might be wrong but thought I read somewhere where they hav nuke stuff to build what ever and they let al-cida(sp) in there boarders. I think if they get rid of them and other things the situation would change a whole lot

I think that perhaps what you have heard was McCain's error in believing that alquida was in Iran... Alquida is not pro-Iran and in fact is Anti-Iran. It is not what is causing the problem in Iran. McCain has been told that there is a difference between the two branches of Islam -- the zuni and shia and yet every time he opens his mouth he just seems to forget again and to try to lump the two branches of Islam together. Then he has to keep on retracting his goof over and over again. It is sad to see that people hear his goof and do not know it is a goof.

yes and its the 2 branches that come together t have peace in Iraq . BUt the prez said the other day that we dont want Iran to have nuke weapons or any way to build them. And there I think he is right we dont need these other countrys to have acces to thiese things that could harm us and our allies

I'm not interested in politics at all.I think all the wars are evil.Why don't we just get along with each other in peace.Some just can't let go ,why don't they just mind their own business?Whoever initiates the war in the first place should be condemned .Those poor people in war,they are the victims of wars,they don't even do anything wrong.

I think that there should be a law regarding war and I think that this law should be made worldwide. This law will commit any president, czar or prime minister that when they should attack or invade any country because of whatever reason, he/she together with their enabled sons be in the frontline and lead the war firsthand. Let see if any leader would hesitately start a fight with any country. just my two cents.
