I got my idea for this discussion from another discussion and thought about the Title of this song from The Phantom of the Opera What is your take on this sentence? Love Changes Everything To me it meant a whole new life, a man who loved me unconditionally, not even my own parents had done that. they were only too aware of all my flaws but this man loved me without any conditions, just as I was , warts and all. He was my best friend and my lover, my confidante and the world seemed brighter and kinder.

My current hubby and I bonded at a Christmas party dancing to Elvis Presley's Love Me Tender. I can't stand that song now.*sigh*

Well my hubby and I are divorcing Hatley, so that song will never be the same for me. No worries though. Believe it or not, I wasn't really a radical Elvis fan anyway! LOL

Love changes everything, huh? I guess it does. It mellows you, makes you a better, kinder person. When you are in love, you tend to be more forgiving, more easy going, more difficult to anger. When you are in love, you tend to be less selfish, you start thinking more about the other person, you have a stronger desire to share, protect and take care. So, I guess, in the end, love does changes everything.

It sounds as if you were one of the very lucky ones. Not everyone meets the perfect mate.

Whiteheather I was one of the lucky ones too as he was as different from me as day is from night and yet we worked great with each other. I could tell him anything 'and he the same with me. It should not have worked yet yet it did.

Hatley, I believe it to mean that love, changes the way you perceive the world around you. All the hate and animosity is different in the light of love. With love all things are renewed and bright. There is light where there once was dark. Love changes Everything.
