For the last two months I have been feeling constantly thirsty. I have to drink lots of water, even then I still feel incredibly thirsty and my mouth and throat are always dry.when I drink water. It’s like the water dries up my mouth / tongue, making me even more thirsty. Oh,and my lips is dry all the time. It's summer here,I still need to use some lip gloss to moisturize it,or else it will rip and hurt. In all other aspects my health is good. I eat well ,I just don't understand why I feel so thirsty all the time. Is there something seriously wrong with me?

well, i guess it's because of the weather. drinking a lot of water is generally good for our health. it said that you should drink water when you are thirsty, when you are not thirsty, and the time between both condition anyway, i heard that the early symptoms of diabetes is always feel thirsty, and pass a lot of urine.

The symptoms you mentioned are indicative of an increased sugar in your blood. Well, it pays off to have a check with your MD or go to the nearest lab for a routine test of HbA1C ( It tests your blood and shows you by the sugar level in your blood & how you have been eating for the last 8-12 weeks). I heard from a friend cardiologist doctor that we need to watch carefully our diets, have a regular sweating off and exercise because in most of their conventions, high emphasis focused on a possible DIABETES epidemic which could happen in 2010 ( it probably is happenning nowadays as I have heard so many cases of new diabetics ). A lot of fingers are pointing to our unhealthy lifestyles especially the kind of foods we feed our bodies--as the cause of this. The very good news is--we can control this with a good and healthy lifestyle.

I have been this way for several months and I have no idea as to what is going on. I have been checked for diabetes and nothing unusual there but it even concerned the doctor that I stay so thirsty. I have had low blood sugar and my iron stays low all the time so I feel like that my add to my problem. I crave ice constantly and I think that I am thirsty if I don't have it.

As I said in your other post - being thirsty all the time can be a sign of diabetes or other diseases so go to your doctor as soon as possible. I don't mean to alarm you but it's best to get these things checked by a doctor just in case.

Well first of all it's summer in your place so maybe you perspire more because of the heat. Second, maybe your in front of the computer all the time or anything with high radiation with it, it dehydrates your body. Third, hmmm, maybe you have a diabetes? Try to consult your trusty medical book or best a doctor.

MAybe it's due to the weather that's making u so thirsty.. TO quench your thirst, u can only drink plain water.. Green tea will make u more thirsty instead because of the stimulants.. So plain water will be good.. Or maybe u can drink warm water instead, it will help to warm your body, let it get used to the weather, and so u wun feel so thirsty after that ^_^

I am not a doctor, and so I am not sure, but you could just pop and see the doctor and perhaps get tested for diabetes, I know that what you have said in a couple of discussions about the things that you are having, could be a sign of diabetes. I had the same symptoms during my fourth pregnancy and I was tested for diabetes, I was not diabetic but I did have low blood sugar levels.

Unfortunately, this type of thirst might also be a sign of a beginning diabetes episode. Take a check-up exam for diabetes. It might also be the heat, but the fact that the thirst is continuous, is not good.

A constant unquentiable thirst can be a sign of diabetes.
