let me include Charrise Pempengco. geee! I really love her, and she's beginning to conquer America. I really love this kind for her voice. she's very talented and she is also good in dancing. and I believe that she's kind and humble. and I don't know her first name but she's a famous fashion designer, and the last name would be Lhuilhier, if I am not mistaken.(correct me if I am wrong.) proud to be Filipino..iba ang galing ng pinoy!

Hello there Janni, I had a similar post like this a year ago. I have some shortlist and asked for other's contributions as well, it's also nice to share and know that they did have a Filipino blood as well. Take for example Lou Diamond Phillips, Rob Schneider, WWE's Batista, Pussycat Dolls' Nichole Scherzinger, White House' executive chef Cristeta Comerford, pro dancer Cheryl Burke and many more.. Miami Heat's newly-appointed head coach, Erik Spoelstra's mother is a Filipino as well. They are almost everywhere, from theater, to fashion industry and even on Reality shows and I am very PROUD of them..

Manny Pacquiao - Capitan Tumba for the Mexicans 3. Rizal??? vs Andres Bonifacio, well in UP Andres Rules 4. Andrew Cunanan yeah who else can afford to do his craft? 5. I would include Jose Rizal on top of the list as he espoused a national consciousness among Filipinos. The Philippines would not be free today if not for the contributions of Jose Rizal. Other notable Filipinos nowadays are sports luminaries such as are Efren "Bata" Reyes, Django Bustamante, Paeng Nepomuceno, Bong Coo and Manny Pacquiao. They have excelled in the sports world and have brought honor and glory to the Philippine cause.
