No credit cards, means I have no debt, I only spend what I have.

credit card - I wish I dont have credit cards, lol
Congrats for not having a credit card. Though its very useful sometimes but I think its still best to spend only what you have. Got 3 active credit cards this time...

I am a student too. I have state Bank of India ATM + Debit card. Well it is essentially the same thing. As one can withdraw as well as use it electronically to buy. The fashion of credit cards are just growing like wild fire. It promotes expending habits, that is not going to help. Credit cards are definitely not good for any one. As one should buy what he or she can pay for now, rather than what one thinks he or she can pay in coming month. So even if given a choice I am not going to use a credit card in near future. And I also think banks should provide debit + ATM cards rather than separate cards for each purpose. Have a good day.

I have a debit card for my bank account. Its the same thing as an ATM card here as I understand. I do not have a credit card and I like to keep it that way.

I only have a debit card...I think they are better to have so that way you can't get yourself into debt, with the debit card you can only spend what you have in the bank.

I have a debit card that doubles up as my ATM card as well.In this age of Plastic Money everythings instant. You want some Money and you can just go and grab it from an ATM Machine that spews it out.Debit cards are convenient though and above all they restrict you from going overboard and splurge on things you may not need and help you live within your means.

I do not have a credit card. I haven't had one in over 30 years, but I do have an atm, everyone here in Montreal has an atm card, it is just away of life, if you have a bank account you have an atm card.

I have two different debit/atm cards - two different bank accounts at two different banks. I find it easier to use the debit card than to mess with checks.

I have two debit cards one for my account at my parents bank, and one for mine and my fiances account, which she added me onto not too long ago,and I am also proud to say that neither of us own a credit card, because in my opinion credit cards are nothing but trouble.

hahaha... and i actually thought atm cards and debit cards are the same... geeez... i guess my mom's right. despite my university background, i can be too dumb. nyahahah... we receive atm cards here automatically upon employment issued by your employer most likely. once you change employer, you change your atm. it's your choice if you wanted to still use the other atm and change its status. but it costs a lot making it a personal account. i chose not to apply for credit card when a lot of my officemates are dying to get one. i can be an overspender sometimes. whatever my brothers and sisters ask if i can buy it i will buy it, thus... i can't have those or i'll be in debt for years.

I got an ATM card and a debit card at the same time. It is very useful not only to students like you. When you have a debit card, you dont need to bring cash with you.

i got an atm card. one for my payroll and one for my personal savings account. every payday, i withdraw some of my money and direct those to my personal savings account so I won't be tempted to spend. LOLz. i also have a credit card which I seldom use. I maybe using it for shopping but I pay them as soon as it gets in to my account so as to avoid paying additional interests. the reason why i use my card is for the rebates and freebies that I will get as soon as I accumulated the points required. :)
