I hope you understand that, for a while, I won't be able to comment on discussions here. I'm going to be devoting myself to helping with fund-raisers for my B-I-L, who's Multiple Myeloma is no longer in remission. They have huge bills still for the previous transplant, and he's agonizing over leaving his family with debt... we're going to help get that taken care of. I will post again, for those who of you who are local, giving dates and times for the events we're planning. I'll be making cards, journals and memorial items to sell, and running the ebay auctions for whatever really good items are donated to the Craig Everson Multiple Myeloma Fund. I'll miss you... but I'll be back.

You all have my prayers. What you are all going through is extremely difficult. I hope you're able to ease as much debt as humanly possible. Thanks for letting us know what is going on, we will miss you. Is there a way to donate online? I have a little money in my Paypal. Take care.

Thanks, my friend... we'd hoped we wouldn't have to deal with anything like this again so soon after Pop, and especially with a much younger husband and father, but his remission didn't last. We have several people who are experts in raising funds who will be giving us advice on how to set up for donations. I'll let you know what we work out on PM. We may be able to use his band's myspace page for some things... http://www.myspace.com/thescrubsband They're a Christian parody band, and they're amazing in the charitable work they do... even as sick as he is, Craig was playing at a shelter just week before last. He still has so much in him to give! Having your thoughts with us is a huge help, my friend!

Thanks so much... we had an extra year we didn't expect to have with him, so we feel so lucky. But now he's starting to have pain from his spine and joints... his bones are full of holes and are crumbling. The best we can do now is help him, my sis, their granddaughter, daughter and son-in-law have quality time until he's gone. The people from their town, church, bank, etc will be helping us in a big way... small towns are wonderful. They'll be so grateful for your prayers. Take care.

What a sweet and considerate person you are. He is lucky that you are related, if only by marriage. It is good that he can have the assurance that his family will be looked after when he is gone. You are helping give him peace of mind.

Thank you... the credit goes to him. He loves my little sis so much... he turned her life around after her first, very abusive marriage. He's been my brother since the day we met, and this is so hard... but we'll do everything we can to ease their minds... and probably even get some laughs out of them again! Take care, my friend.

Thanks so much... his transplant was half a million dollars... we were never told, and thought they had help from insurance... they don't. Pride is not always a good thing: it will never pay the bills. We're starting late, but who knows what we can do? Take care.

Thanks for your support... he means the world to us, and if we can shoulder some of his worries, we're more than happy to. And this is our baby sister... we've always taken care of each other, and she needs us the most right now. Take care.

I am so sorry for your brother in law and the rest of your family. I have a friend who has had melanoma twice in her life. Thankfully she is cancer free at the moment. I will keep you all in my prayers.

Thank you... I'm so happy for your friend. I lost my Pop to cancer in '05... there are so many kinds, and they can change and mutate and invade so badly! But research is happening, great discoveries are made every day... our nephew is in research and I bless him every day. I'm passing on all thoughts, wishes and prayers... my sis is overwhelmed at the caring, concerned people in the world... I know they're there, cuz I know all of you. Take care.

That is so great about your cousin! I'm glad she has been able to keep her sense of humor about the whole situation. I'm sorry that you've had so many family members with cancer.

Hello, my friend! I haven't heard from you for a long time... I hope all is well with you. B-I-L is my brother-in-law... the husband of my youngest sister. He has so many medical bills from his cancer treatment that the stress is very hard on him. He doesn't have much longer to live, and we are trying to take away the worries that he has about what will happen to his family after he is gone. All of their friends and relatives are taking them food, paying their small bills, and one friend even paid for his body to be cremated when he's gone. He's a wonderful man, and we are helping any way we can. I try to check in here about once a week, so I won't answer all discussions, but I will talk to my friends! I'm so glad that the advice I gave you helped you... having bad health myself makes me want to do what I can for my friends. I hope to hear from you again soon... take care!

I'm really sorry to hear about your B-I-L, oh course it is going to be hard on you too, don't forget we are all here for you. So if you need cheering up just drop a quick line and we can keep you going. It will be good if there are people on here local that can help you. If you let me know what things or an username for ebay i will take a look and see if i can do my bit by bidding on something on ebay. I will be thinking of you, keep well!!

Thanks, my friend... after the way your note made me feel, I will do that for sure! I'm much smarted now than when I took care of Pop, and will not push that hard again... I'm doing more harm than good when I do that. Right now, getting things organized is fun... the ideas are flying, we're getting together for planning sessions, etc. I spent the morning making packets of paper die-cuts and punch-outs for the craft sale, and will be working on greeting cards for the rest of the night. I've been out of that loop for a while cuz I've been here on mylot gabbing! Donations are coming in, and we'll pick the best of the best to sell on ebay, along with MM burgundy ribbons and some of the craft things. I will let you know when we're up and running! Thanks for the boost... I WILL be talking to you soon. Take care, my friend!

Thanks for caring... just that means so much to them. They felt they were all alone in this... now, there won't be any way to stop us until things are as they should be. Take care.

Thanks so much, G-ma... they don't want anyone to have any hardship because of them... your wishing them well will really help to boost their spirits. We hope to have every aspect organized within a month, and I'll post what we have going on. Take care.

I'm not local, but somehow within the rules here if you would post the Ebay auctions, it would be great. Take care of yourself too.

Thanks, my friend... I think that PM would probably work. Not to worry... I learned my lesson with Pop... I will NOT overdo, but it sure feels good to have so much purpose right now! Take care.
