So I have been talking to my daughter about what needs to be changed in her room to accommodate grandma. MY daughter has the biggest room in the house and it's nicely divided in one part for the bed and another for a small little sitting room. THere was no closet for hanging clothes but we made one when that was our room some times ago. But my daughter decided to put her two dressers there which was silly in the first place because it left her without any place to hang clothes that need to be hanged. But hey, it is her room, so I decided to let her solve that the way she wanted. But now grandma is coming and will be sharing the room. We need to hang her clothes. So I have been telling daughter that the dressers need to come out of there. Since she hadn't move them so far and grandma is arriving friday I decided to go and do it today. I cleaned up the room and moved the dressers so there is now space to hang clothes. I had to take out the small tv stand to make space for one dresser but I was able to still keep it in the room. When she came back home she had a five minute tantrum. I understand it is her room, and I usually don't move anything there, I let her make her own changes. But in this case she needs to understand that for now things will have to be this way even though it's not to her taste. This was the last weekend before grandma arrives and it would be difficult to do anything that big during the week. I do wish we had more space, but we don't, and she was the one that convinced grandma to come, she knew there would have to be some small changes in her room. Oh well... we can't please everyone. Did you displease anyone during this weekend?

We can support anything as long as it does not invade our space right? LMAO She will get over it in a little while and she will be so happy to have her grandmother about as well. Oh gosh Arkaf, I started my weekend off on the wrong foot with my kids. LMAO So I understand exactly what you are going through here. Your Mom and you do what you have to do to accommodate everyone.

LOL ain't that the truth! SHe kind of got over it already. She, like daddy, is very impulsive and will explode right away, but in five minutes everything is fine again. It will work out, of course, and she's actually quite happy to have grandma here. Now we just need to win the lottery so we can get a house with space for everyone LOL

As you say she should have done it and then you would not have had to enter her room and do it yourself But I guess that is Children for you lol Mine actually used to love it when I went and cleaned or changed their rooms lol I am sure she is fine now as Grandma is there now Hugs

Hah, my only babies are leafy green things that live in the AeroGardens, and I may have displeased one of them today because I chopped it up and put it in a salad. Anyone who wants my yummy recipe should check out my blog, where it is posted along with yummy photos. Just tell her you understand her need for space but the next time you take in something that needs to grow roots, it will be edible. Heh, heh.
