wat do you think is the most happening topic among Youngsters????

What is the most happening topic among youngster? I think it involves the newest tech and relationships. It is odd though, being a parent and a educator, I have had the opportunity to observe young people for years now and I have noticed the idea that is it very difficult for them to deal with each other person to person. They are texting, phone, chatting but when the tech is taken away they are at a loss on how to actually communicate! What do you think of this observation? Are young people using tech as a crutch in relationships?
