How much do you spend on clothes a month?

Honestly, sometimes I'd spend more than $500 on clothes and accessories. It's simply my addiction. Plus the fact that I love to shop and consider it a form of relaxation.

HA! I hardly ever buy me anything. I love to shop at thrift stores and get the top name brands at low prices. Last week we went to yard sales and thrift stores and loaded up. My 14 year old loves name brand stuff but I refuse to pay $50 for a shirt or a pair of jeans. She got 13 pairs of jeans(Aeropostale, Gap, L.E.I, etc), several shirts, shorts, and pairs of shoes. Oh, and 8 purses(.85 each)!. Many things we buy are new with tags! It all cost me under $40 and she has a new wardrobe! She is as happy as can be. I don't pay full price for much other than some groceries and gas.

I always shop by season so I don't always buy clothes every month. The most I have ever spend was around 1,200 It always depends on the time of year and what I need.

Hi, I seldom buy new clothes. I only buy new clothes when the new year is near and when there are big sales. So, I don't spend a penny to buy clothes every month. I only spend money to buy clothes the month before the new year. Happy mylotting.

clothes on a rack - clothes shopping
I don't really buy new clothes every month. I am very picky with clothing so it's hard for me to go shopping, but when I see something I like, I just have to get it! When I do find something I like in a store I would spend around $100-$200 dollars right there alone. But that's still not every month.

I spend a couple of hundreds a month on average. I'm into sales so I usually buy when there's a sale. Also, my shopping budget gets out of hand when I need to buy new shoes because those cost more. I don't really find shopping relaxing--it's more of an activity to kill time I guess. Nevertheless, I get excited whenever I buy something new because I look forward to wearing my new clothes and putting together a new outfit. Aside from buying clothes, I really spend a lot on cosmetics and skincare products. I love looking at shampoos, conditioners, hair treatments, body lotions, and acne medication especially in the grocery. They aren't really that expensive depending on the brand but when my purchases add up, it causes quite a dent on my pocket. Ulk!

Shopping!! That's my craze . . . I'm not ashamed to admit it. But for me I am a very economic shopper, LOL. I always look for ways to minimize the cost and maximize the outcome. Don't get me wrong, I only shop for quality and not just quantity. $500 is equivalent to +- R4000.00 (SA)so I can't afford to spend that much on one go. I look for mark-downs, sale, and I love shopping at factories (you can buy clothes for half the retail price).
