..... and we discussed the up's and down as well as prefference's of a desktop or laptop computer.I prefer a laptop because of the lightness and mobility of it without dealing with the heavy bulky monitor and tower.Plus, you have all those cords and the mouse.Plus the mouse is easier to handle when it is built in like on the laptop. What do you prefer?

I've never owned a lap top but have used my daughters before. I've been wanting a lap top for awhile now, but I need to get some bills paid down before I invest in a lap top. Right now I am just thankful that I pick up a free wireless connection from my neighbor and that my pc is working.

I hope you can get things straightened out so you can get a laptop.

Well I have both a laptop and a desktop. They both have their good points. When I am at home, I mostly prefer my desktop.I like the keyboard much better, and the mouse too. The laptop is nice, because it is lightwiight, you can take it to any room, or even outdoors.I even can take it with me if I travel. But I can not use the mouse on it, I have another mouse, I attach to my laptop.

My first computer was a desktop,so I knew nothing else and was fine with it.Then I got a laptop when we were staying with my mom and she would not let me bring my computer over because she said there was not enough room.I really liked it.Then it fell and the screen broke.Someone got me a used desktop that I could afford. It is more difficult to use I think.

I have BOTH,and i do enjoy taking my laptop into the living room.I also enjoy my desk top computer because it has a printer, scanner and copier...I do not have a lot of wires, because i have a cordless mouse and cordless keyboard...If i want to stay in the bedroom ,then my desttop is fine, but i can't say which i like the most, they are both really good...

Hi,
I prefer laptop. I use my laptop at home and in school. I don't like to use desktop because I can't bring it everywhere I go. I store most of my stuff in my laptop and when I need those things, I will get it easily in my laptop.
Personally, I don't play games a lot, so a normal and simple laptop is enough for me. I use my laptop to go online using the WiFi and doing my school works. If I use a desktop, I can't use WiFi and makes it harder for me to go online.

i prefer using a laptop because it's convenient and i can bring it everywhere i go. i can also use it for school works, etc. aside from that, my brother won't even dare to use it because he's not really comfortable in using a laptop when he's playing online games or either just surfing
