What is your favorite flavor of Salt Water Taffy? I love the chocolate ones or mint. Where do you get your taffy? We would always get ours in Ocean City, Maryland. Has anyone ever tried to make their own? I bet it would be interesting to do.

Hi! Well, Happy Taffy Day to you!^_^ But...what exactly is Taffy?I really dont know what it is but from your description of CHOCOLATE and mint Taffy I think Ill like it very much.LOL^_^ I love anything Chocolate and Im curious to taste one. Thanks for the info.^_^

WOW!!! molasses, chocolate and vanilla!!!^_^ Thank you so much for the links, now Im getting really hungry. You just made me envious of the pictures. I dont think we have that here. Oh! My friend is going to Singapore next week. Maybe they have taffy there.LOL Im going to look it up. Thanks again!^_^

I love taffy and banana is my favorite. Each year, I buy several bags at the county fair where they have many flavors. Also one of the candy stores has 4 flavors, so buy a bag every couple of months. Sorry don't make my own just don't eat it that often.

Never thought about looking for it at the fairs. I always associate taffy with the beach. Silly, huh!!!

Naional taffy day? That sounds interesting. I like the traditional butter flavoured taffy, or whatever it is. I don't like taffy with a bunch of different flavours, just the regular stuff. I love that stuf. I think I'll go find some now.

I like salt water taffy, but I have never tried to make it before. My cousin sent me some a few years ago as a Christmas present. I forget where she got it from though. It was good. My only issue with salt water taffy is that sometimes you have no clue what flavor it is until it is in your mouth.

I agree with you about the flavor. That's why I always stick with colored ones, I'm not crazy about the white ones. Thanks for the response.

I love taffy! I think Im the only on in my family who does though so I dont buy it too often cause I would end up eating the whole bag myself. Banana is my favorite flavor!
