download a song, but resulted as a virus !!!!

i like to seek and download free songs from the internet, and mostly i use the limewire program and recently i upgraded my classic limewire to limewire pro of course a pro service will give a better and safer service right ? but apparently it's not i searched and downloaded some songs last week using the pro one, and it resulted a virus it's very surprising the file has a normal size like other mp3 songs, but when i move the pointer to the file, the duration shows that the song is only 1 second long ? that's weird, to me.. hehee when i tried to drag the song to the itunes, it didn't appear on the list then i tried to double click the file, and suddenly my anti-virus program appear and the file resulted as a trojan virus.. damn !! i seek other songs, and resulted as a virus, again .. huhh anybody understand the matters ? please share it with me, hehee i'm not really understand with those technology thanks a lot for sharing .. ^^
