I am 32. I am diabetic for last many years. Symptoms of tiredness, weight increase were there, but I never took them seriously. When It become defficult for me to work normal in my daily life I found my self with diabetes, high blood pressure and cholestrol. I know insulin secrection by some grand reduces and due to this more amount of sugar remains unconverted and remains in my blood. I also know that I should not intake much of sugar rich things like potato, rice and sweets to keep sugar under control. I am not happy with the life I am forced to live by this disease as I have sweet tooth and I enjoy eating a lot. I dont just want to live under so many boundations of eatings and not eatings. Is there any way, medicine or excercise which can activate my grand to secret insuline to a normal vele again (i dont want to intake insulin tablets or injections or whole life). Simlar request is to how can I get rid of my hypertension and cholestrol. Thanks in advance bye/ Ajay

First of all, do not eat anything sweet than contain sugar. Secondly you will need to reduce quantity of foods you're eating. Thirdly you will start to eat diet food and most importantly you will need to start exercise so your weight can be reduced. Optionally you might need to hire a personal trainer so you'll be restricted on how to consume food and change the way you're eating. Hope they would work on you and good luck.

Dear friend, I do not yet tested diabetic conditions. Still I feel I not one among them as I do regular exercise and eat less of sweet and fried items. Still I more early I would test the diabetics and other normal health of my body. I had seen few of diabetic patients and how they suffer and their sudden downfall. Recently I had met a person in hospital whose kidneys got failed due to critical diabetic condition arised. Hence I feel it would be better to take precautionary or safely measure before one get of these kinds diseases.

Thanks for reply. Your response made me a little more worry as I am having gastric prolem also for last 6 years around. I ot it tested and full abdoman ultrasound revealed that I have one kidney by birth. i.e. left kidney of mine was missing. I dont know whether its right or wrong but I did not get it checked further. So if diabetes is goinfg to effect kideny, I will have to be more serious. Thanks or reminding me.

To this date I have not seen any medicines nor herbal product that has stopped the progression of diabetes in our body. What is the next best thing you could do is to slow the progression of the disease from catching up on you. How? Proper diet, exercise and unfortunately the medicines that is prescribed by your doctor. Constant checking from time to time of your sugar levels could also give you some hints how you are progressing your fight against the disease. Drinking of those herbal products may also help in postponing diabetes from developing into a full blown disease.

well, i think you have to maintain your diet, and drink lots of water. i you want to practice yoga, there are certain postures which can treat certain glands (like pancreas and adrenal), hence strengthen and balances its work.

You can practice Kapalbhati Pranayam at home also it is very simple.Do kapalbhati pranayam for five minitues. Then agnisar mudra for 2 or 3 minutes. Take half cup of bitter gourd juice, one cup of cucumber juice and one cup of tomato juice.mix it and drink it.Drink it for fifteen days I think you will be surely benefitted.

You must learn to eat proper foods that are good for you and avoid eating sweets as much as possible. Another important thing to do is begin cutting back on your carbohydrates. Exercise will play an important part in your life as well. GOOD LUCK :)

If you are overweight, losing weight should help with your hypertension. Changing your diet can help to reduce your cholestrol. You didn't say what type of diabetes you have. If you have type 1 and take insulin injections, you are going to have to accept the fact that you have this disease and learn to live with it. If you have type 2 and it's related to weight, losing weight will help. I want you to know that having diabetes does not mean that you can't eat the things you like anymore. My granddaughter has Type 1 diabetes and she is only 17 years old. She has had it for four years now and has to give herself from four to six injections a day. She also has arthritis because of the diabetes so she is in pain every day. I'm not trying to minimize your situation but you have it so easy compared to her so, instead of complaining, learn about the disease and what you can do to improve your health.

Its a type 2 diabetes and yes it is due to overweight but do you think 68Kgs for 5' 7" height is over weight. I find myself a little fat only. But is build my personality also. Earlier when I was just 50Kgs I had an inferiority complex of being underweight. Then all of a suddent my weight started to increase and it went up to 72 in a span of just 1 year. Since then, I mean for last 5-6 years it is constant around 70. But, yes, its true that problem started after that only. Before that everything was fine. Finally I have to agree with you to reduce weight. I will try to keep check over it. I am happy to learn from you that its not necessary that I can't eat the things I like. I find your post most valuable. If I could choose 2 besy response, The second one was your. Thanks , Thanks and once again thanks a lot. Bye/Ajay
