we know the story of MOSES(PBUH) , andthat Pharaoh was drowned along with his men chasing Moses(PBUH) in a river, but the Quran gives some additional info on this matter which BIBLE does not.... the BODY of PHARAOH was founded in a sea, in the last century, i hope everyone knows that, ALLAH says in the QURAN chapter#10 verse 92: " so today we shall save you body so that you may become a sugn for those after you,and verily many among mankind are heedless of our ayats(proofs, evidences, signs, verses, etc.)" this was the prophecy in the Quran and it has come true, the Pharaoh which came out of water is proved to be the one which followed MOSES(PBUH) .... so why not people think over the signs in QURAN,as the verse says... think over it, MAY ALLAH lead you to the right path,

"the BODY of PHARAOH was founded in a sea, in the last century, i hope everyone knows that," Source please? There is no historical evidence that the story of Exodus is true so I think Allah and the Qur'an may be all at sea over this one.

This from the man that brought us the "The Jesus Family Tomb". Can we assume that it has equal creditability? This guy is well known for telling history as we wish it was.

Wish I woudlve seen this discussion sooner I wouldve put this link up http://www.history.com/shows.do?action=detail&showId=180013 I have heard that this tablet was discovered which mirrors the story of exodus in 1947. The tablet also reveals the name of the pharoah.

Ahmose I.(pharoahs name) atleast according to the Ahmose stele, also called the Tempest Stele pieces of this stone tablet were unearthed in Karnak by Henri Chevalier in 1947 but as anything else to do wiht the middle east the truth of it all may never be confirmed because each side has there reasons for it to be untrue/true. Not so much about belief in God but politics of not wanting to establish any Jewish claim or validity. So dont count on ever getting to the bottom of it all, all you can do is look at both sides and form your own opinions off of what you see.

Too lazy! What was the name of the Pharoah? I don't have the History channel (hah, I don't have any channels), so can't watch it. Though I'd like to.
