I have heard from a lot of you that you find me to be hilarious. This is mostly the case, but there are some here that find me offensive. Others yet will laugh heartily while I am spanking the vowels off of someone with a keyboard but would prefer to never been on the receiving end of such an assault.
So I took a quiz to find out what my sense of humor was and surprise surprise....here are my results...

I will not be surprised to find that the majority of my "good friends" here on the lot share this sense of humor with me.

Are you sitting down??? Good! This made me just pee my pants and fully explains why my friend Tee would be my boyfriend if he didn't like boys....
Here's a shocker: I have a sarcastic sense of humor. I do? Really? Duh?
See I just can't help myself.
Here is what it said:
Oh yeah, you're really funny. (Actually you are, but you're so sarcastic that it's hard to tell when you're joking.) You mean what you say, but almost never say exactly what you mean. In fact you usually say the exact opposite. For instance, if your friend is wearing an ugly watch, you might tell them, "I wanted a watch like that once, but I got the wrong Happy Meal." Yep, there's a slight edge to your humor, but all you are really doing is telling it like it is, only like it's not.
Whether you're roasting a friend or playing social critic, your deadpan delivery and dry cynicism go a long way to expressing your true feelings...and making people laugh along the way.
By the way, I'm totally stealing that happy meal joke.

Sparkofinsanity, your sense of humor is Goofy Humor You have your standards: They may be low, but at least you have them. Sure, subtle wit makes some people grin and say, "Now that's funny." But you know the Three Stooges makes people howl with laughter. It's the physical stuff, the poop jokes and funny voices, that get you going because you have a goofy sense of humor. You have no problem making a fool of yourself as long as your moves to "fake" a fall break the ice and make people feel comfortable.
Wit, sarcasm, and satire can get lost in the translation, but a whoopee cushion is universal. Yes, it may be lowbrow — heck, it may even be nobrow, but getting laughs is what matters to you. From ye old court jesters to the kids of South Park, you and your goofy sense of humor are in good company.
I rest my case for all of you who think I'm insane! The only person to peg me right was Angelwhispers who constantly tells me I'm a GOOF!

I can't see you as banter. Then again I don't know you. But in my head you are the 3 stooges kind of funny in person. Taking a prat fall, poking yourself in the eye, that sort of thing. Physical funny, not mental work funny. But that is just my opinion.

It's quantity, not quality that matters as you and your friends alternate outbursts like the riffs of a hit single. Here's the bottom line: You're a social creature. Other people's inside jokes even strike you as funny. You manage to gravitate toward people who can appreciate a tall tale and you've probably never hesitated to fire off a zinger — even in a roomful of strangers. So keep it up with your bantering methods. Laughter, after all, keeps the world going 'round

I appreciate banter. It takes a quick wit to be good at it and actually make it funny, so aside from sarcasm and dark, I think banter would be my 3rd favorite kind of funny to be.

I have a sarcastic sense of humor... I knew that already! But the quiz was fun and made me laugh!
Cyn.. when I first joined.. you were among the first to reply to some of my first discussions. I wasn't quite sure what to think of you. Then I added you as a friend and I am sure glad I did! I find that you are a lot like me in some aspects. Don't ever change!

I got sarcastic the second time I took the quiz but I don't know. I think I am 50/50 sarcasm and darkness. Maybe that's why, depending on the day, no one is ever really sure how to take me.
50% of me and you get along great. The other 50%....well so far so good.

There is a funny corner in evrybody they say and have you heard this ine antime by anyone ? it is true as each and evry individual does funny things once in a while even if they dont look like taht sort off as many people does look very serious in their expressions isnt it?

goofy sense of humour? that ain't me at all and yet that's what the test told me. i think i am up for the goofy stuff, but me personally...i don't tell the goofball jokes. i don't like the 3 stooges, as the test would imply....i am more the wit/sarcastic/bad-add/morbid sense of humour ;)

I love your sense of humor cyn honey but then i have been surrounded by a very dry and dark sense of humour all my life and am a bit twisted myself! lol
I am quite surprised at my results but then again when I was working in the pub the guys were always surprised they couldn't get the better of me with the banter and cutting remarks - it turns out I am a satirist! lol
If there's one thing you're positive about it's that life is absurd. That's why your sense of humor centers around satire and farce. From social to political to religious, you see all of humanity's institutions as all too serious and totally hilarious because of it. Whether you're roasting the regulars at the coffee shop or going after bigger laughs inspired by newscasters, or dare we say, the President, your razor sharp wit cuts though the bologna. Just remember, when you lay the irony on thick, not everyone gets your humor. That's okay — if you can't laugh with someone, you can always laugh at them.

dont believe it but the silly test says I am sarcastic
so okay maybe so. I have had a lifetime to get that
way lol. I am a senior citizen who loves to laugh
when something is really funny but it has to be really
funny for me to break out in guffaws. I love the far
out jokes and the silly jokes. sarcastic who me?
well maybe I am and thats just okay with me as
people do do things that sort of make me feel
sarcastic at times. laughs are so good for you and lighten
up the world around you.

I took the quiz and I have the same result like you: Dark humor. "ah, how come???"that what I said after I take it. Perhaps, it might be right, because I really love to laugh. :D Well, very funny test, and thanks for sharing this to us. XD
