Have you had a surprise wedding?

Ha, this is funny cause this happened to me. My ex now, but he called me and said I dont want to wait, get dressed we are going to get married today, but I did not believe him. I thought he was just joking so I put on jeans and a t-shirt and he came to pick me up with a friend and we went to the courthouse and got married but i still thought he was pulling a prank on me until the clerk call our names then I panicked, but it was too late then.

Nope I don't know any one that has had a suprise wedding. If my husband had planned some thing like that although it would have been a nice thought I would have been mad. I probably would have married him anyway but I would have been mad that I didn't get to plan the wedding. There may have been things he didn't think of. But either way when we did get married we planned the whole thing together. Now if he planned a second wedding - to renew our vows or some thing that would be awesome. But not for our first wedding.

Nope and I never know anyone who were given a surprise wedding. It must be hard on the part of the groom. with all the preparations and persons to contact for the programme and reception..LOL, but, if someone will do that, it is something very wonderful and touching, imagine the effort he had made to made it possible, it is very enormous!
