nope, well it all depends on what type of movie you watch e.g. if you watch horror movies like me the only thing you really learn is dont trut strangers.

Haha! Thats so true. I do think that one can learn a lot through movies. Even some fiction movies are quite informative. One can see a lot of analysis on present day issues. For example, War Inc. But I agree with welshninja, it all depends on the movie, and the movies you are watching.

I like to watch movies for time pass and enjoy and not learn. You can learn a lots from reading books not from watching movies. This is my personal opinion
