I have heard of many beautiful places. Never have been myself. Here is one I found. You may enjoy it.Chennai, widely known as Madras till 1996, has a rich tradition and civilisation with a blend of the old, and the new, vibrating ceaselessly to keep pace with the rest of India, as the buoyant metropolis of the third most industrialised State. Chennai is the fourth largest city in India and the capital of Tamil Nadu. Retaining much of its traditional charm, this 350 year old city is the gateway to the south, providing many a fascinating vignette of southern heritage.

its so nice of you.. Actually I am from chennai only. I forgot to mention it in my discussion. Other than chennai what other places do u suggest for a vacation.

i have four children and i am a single mom. i wish i can go in a vacation, but that would be so expensive for us. i have seen a lot of wonderful places on tv, like italy, australia but i can only visit that on TV. now it is my childrens summer vacation we went outing ones we went swimming. so thats the only vacation we can afford for now
