Bottled or Tap?

OK, my burning question today is How do you like your water? Do you like it straight from the tap or do you prefer it bottled? I prefer my water bottled, particularly here in DC (the water here doesn't taste so great). I love to add a slice of lime; it makes it wonderfully refreshing. Another reason I prefer bottled water is because tap water is regulated by the EPA while bottled water is regulated by the FDA (which has stricter regulations). But even if this were not the case, I would still stick with bottled water - it just plain tastes better. So, how about you? Bottled or Tap?

Where I live we have wonderful tasting water so I prefer it from the tap. I even have bottles I refill when the bottled water is gone.

You are certainly lucky! DC water tastes terrible! I can't even stand the ice from the ice maker! If the water tasted better I would likely do as you do. As it stands, though, I go to CVS and get the great big bottles of water for $1.75. When they have sales I really stock up!

When my daughter lived in Hawaii....the water was so bad that when you turned on the tap it stunk up the whole house! It was so gross so I know what you are talking about.

I prefer bottled water instead of tap. I know I am safe with the bottled water. I am afraid drinking the tap water because I really don't know on where they get it. If I would drink tap water, I'd rather drink to those trusted restaurants.

I am a little leery of the tap water too. I mean, really, you just never know. Plus, I just like the taste of bottled water. I also like sparkling water from time to time...

That is what happens with DC water! It isn't very metallic, but it definitely does not taste good. I keep CVS in business with my water purchases!
