..Special gift for a Special someone's birthday..

hmm,i remember give my cousin and nephew a gift which was of picture of them,from differne points of their life which was my cousin love and my nephew she able to add to it and love it for him,you could do something like that,or a recording of his friends giving him greetings sound good as well.

you can give him a perfume,a heart of glass or watch have a nice day

I would suggest that you record video greetings from his friends and of course including you.. in that way, he knows how much he is loved and when he feels sad, he can watch it again...get what I mean...Oh and you could also include video greetings from friends he hasn't seen in a long time :) I made this video for a friend and I got a video greetings from her friends and also from a friend who lives in Canada (I live in the Philippines). I made her record her greeting and have it sent to me via Y!m. You can compile videos to make a dvd that you can play on the day of his birthday :)
