Okay, Where Am I?

Okay I am the type that does not set goals. Usually that is. I recently got DSL high speed hook up and decided to try a few things here. One was accomplished. Well nearly. I wanted to see if I could make $5 in one day. I made $4.99 The other goal I wanted to achieve was to be on the first page of the "users by rating" page. Well I made that one as well. It was a lot of work with all the writing etc but I did it. Now back to my regular type of myLotting without thinking about doing anything in particular. Where are you at on the page of users by rating? How long have you been here posting also?

Congratulations on those two things... i never thought getting $5 in one day here in mylot was possible... but you proved me wrong... but i don't think i can ever do something like that...
Right now i am in page 9 or user by rating... and i think it will take me quite some time to reach page 1... but with a lot of work... i will arrive there... not just in the near future...

Yes it took a lot of discussions started and responses and comments and uploading photos to get both these things done. Many many hours as well. I don't want to try that again for a long time. It was fun but very tiring to say the least. Thanks also.

congratulations grandpa bob for being able to achieve your goals... i can never earn $5.00 in a day and being on the first page of the "users by rating" page as i just don't have enough time to spend here... i am working full time as well and i can only be here during my free time... once again, congratulations grandpa and keep up the good job... take care and have a nice day...

I have been here for about eightteen months. I never look at my standings of being on hot topics, or where I am as a user by rating, or anything like that. I just post and respond. So maybe you will want to tell me where I am.

I think we just came here the same time GrandPa, it's been more than year and closely coming to two years that I've become a member of this site. I used to set up goals (or something like that, in posting), but I lost somehow the TOUCH of reaching that 30 posts a day I used to achieve back then.
As of this moment, I am still on the second page of the "users by ratings" page and I think it's gonna take me a long time to catch up with you guys.
Nevertheless, I still enjoy what I am doing here.

I have been here just over a year. Not sure the date I signed up. It can be done. I caught up with them all. Well all but 49 anyhow.

Congratulations on getting onto the first page Grandpa Bob! I usually don't look and see where I am at, unless I respond to a discussion about it! I'm currently on page 9 and have been here since February 2007.
Keep up the good work! Maybe I'll be able to get there one day...yeah, right!

I never paid attention until I got on the second page then I always wondered if I'd ever make the first page. A long ways to go to be up even a row higher.

I have not set any goals here at Mylot here recently because every time that I do, something goes wrong and keeps me from reaching them and it is very discouraging for me. I have been with Mylot for little over a year now but was away for about 6 months in 2007. I am on the first page of the top users by rating list though. It definitely was alot of work and typing for me but I was so glad to reach the goal. I am going to dwindle some of my sites that I am working with down sometime soon though so I will have more time to work at Mylot. I may try to set new goals then.

Thanks and you're a few ahead of me it seems. There are a lot of inactive members on the first page as well so passing some will be easy. Now theres a few that I'll never catch though but hey this place is a blast though so now I just do my noprmal myLotting and enjoy it.

I'm pretty much oblivious to the stars and star ratings.. (unless my color star should plummet! that is) - I often go around asking "where am I?" and also go about and discuss without thinking about anything in particular.. and yes, I actually earn a little bit of money doing that.. albeit here, about $5.00 a week, have to get serious one of these days and see just how much I could earn in a day.. maybe it will be today! As it's old outside!

Wow, that is definitely an impressive accomplishment. 8126 posts altogether sounds phenomenal! :) Thanks for reminding me that setting goals is something I love to do! :) Especially when they're fun to reach. I'm hopeful that I'll be able to make it to a dollar before the day is through, though I'm not entirely sure. I guess I have to think of more discussion topics now. :D Thanks for the inspiration again, and take care!

I wasn't aware that there was such a page! Congrats on making both you goals, it feels good to set a goal and accomplish it, doesn't it? High-speed internet is great, I would be very upset if I had to go back to dial-up.
