what do you think about this matter? is it okay to bringing back our old discussions in here again or it would be against the mylot guidelines? cause in my point of view, that will be nice if we permit to bring back some old discussion which perhaps have not any response yet in the previous time would you share your opinion about this matter with me?

dear friend, it means we re-post the discussion that we ever made before on the previous time in order to get better response from now on. you will see later on when you already made lots of discussion and in some your discussion you don't have any response at all which made you want to re-post it again. i hope my explanation is clearly enough for you

We can actually make our old discussion a live again just to comment back our old responder. Then the discussion will on to again. We don't have to make a new one the same like the old one.

The proper way to get old discussions alive again is to seek out the kind of myLot friends who care enough to go back and comment on your old discussions. They can see which ones did not get answers. The way to get that kind of friend, in my opinion, is to be that kind of friend. If an old discussion did not get any responses, it is clearly against the guidelines to post it over again. A discussion works two ways, you see. If you were having a discussion with a real person standing next to you and the person did not reply the first time, is it likely that if you say the same thing again, then the person would reply. Would you shout the second time? OK, I have gone back and given a response to one of your very old discussions that had 0 responses before. Now what?

I dont think there an offence in bringing back an old discussion. I have seen discussion which are like a year old coming up again and most of them are interesting. There are new people joining mylot everyday and it will be a big favor for them to respond to such discussions. But there are other discussions that you might not need to bring to life, are topic like : Tommorow is my birthday! This will confuse guys not unless its another year of celebration.

I think this would be a good idea as when I first joined about 4 months ago any discussions I posted then as I was so new received maybe if I was lucky 1 or 2 responses whereas now I have many more friends and know how to respond back in each discussion and keep it flowing it would bring it new life. Also anyone that has joined myLot since I did will not have seen them either. Ellie :D

I would agree with you plumwish, I believe it was not the flavor of the month to some members and bringing it back may attract attention!LOL, I have no idea if it will violate the rules here, hope not!

I think that there has been a few times that I have seen a few discussions back and i know that they were old. sometimes i guess is would be find for those days that my lot is busy and it could get miss. There are plenty of pages to go through to find topics in discussion to comment too.

Hello plumwish, It is good if we can put forward our old discussions again. But it will not just the repeat of the old one. We can bring it only by any response from others or comments from our selves.I think it is not against the guide lines of the Mylot. Thanks

There are so many new users (my self included) That it would be impossible not to. We newbees don't have a clue as to the many many discussions of the past. So I think old discussions would happen naturally! Have a great day! tdemex

Personally I feel that its okay to do. If there hasn't been any activity on it recently. AND if it hasn't been resolved yet. But I don't see the point of starting one again that didn't get any, or very few, responses. Apparantly people weren't interested then. Why would you assume they would be now? If one has been resolved already then what's the point?
