Who has sour dough starter and what do you do with it?

I used to have a good batch of sour dough starter going on, used it for more than 2 yrs. Made delicious waffles,pancakes,and biscuts. Have you ever done any of this?

it wasn't sour dough, but i used to make "Amish friendship bread" starter dough, but every time i made it, it made 5 batches, you were supposed to give the batches to your friends, but they started to get as tired of making it as i did. i started freezing the batches but then my freezer started filling up with it, so i just gave up. anyways, they have sour dough starter dough recipes at www.recipezaar.com
i looked it up once (love sour dough) but the way i see it, it's easier to go buy a loaf.

yeah, the one i was making was on a timeline, you had to do things on certain days for like 6 days. that's why i started freezing it to stop the process, but after you make it so many ways it starts to get kind of tiresome.
i know sour dough is different and can last for years b4 you have to work with it.
but to get the actual starter dough seemed too complicated to me.
