Watching Dora

before i used to find Dora irritating; trudging along with her backpack in with the talking pencil, urging you to say things as they do onscreen. but somehow, after sitting down and trying to bear with it, she seems pretty cute with her bowl haircut. plus, the fox bulglar makes it much more funny.. "Swiper, no swiping!!!"

Little girls like to get in activities through this show. I've seen babies doing things Dora tells them to do. Its a good activity but it must be a part of the day. Its better to make your girls involved in another Interesting activity which can divert them to it than to see Dora.

My 16 month old daughter and even my 8 year old son like DORA. I personally think it is annoying and I leave the room when they are watching it.

Hi! Im not really sure but when Dora first came out I wanted to watch it to learn some Spanish even if its a kids show.LOL^_^ Well, I think kids love Dora because its quite interactive, kinda like Blue's Clues but its all cartoons and most of the things move and sing.^_^ When my nanny's kid came over for the fiesta we watched Dora that time and even if it was in English which he doesnt understand much yet, he would gamely point to the choices which he thinks is right. Like the question where would Dora need to go next to get to someone?Then it will be a screenshot of 3 places and a character will narrate and describe each one. The kid loved it, he even laughs at the songs and the characters. Me, I just like the Spanish and the opening song "Ddddddora!, DDdddora!Dddddora the Explorer!"LOL^_^ I still like Blue's Clues over Dora because its what I grew up with but I can understand what kids might like about the show. I think your kids are just having some kind of cartoon phase. When they get tired of Dora it will be another show. Hope that helps, goodluck!^_^

I have never really liked the show Dora and I am not really sure what any sees in that show,because I think the show is pretty annoying.
