hi i see this word 'lol' often in many discussion-what does it mean-is it abbrevation of someting?does it have something to do wiyh liking or loving?

If I use it, it means "Lots of Laughter." I don't know if there are any other meanings. Whenever I am amused or whenever something makes me laugh, I just type LOL. It means the same as this emoticon

hi phaedra says it means laughing out loud-i think there's no much difference between lots of laughter and laugh out loud-lol!

LOL yup it is the same. When you laugh a lot, you do laugh out loud... Cheers!!

hi amirev777..."lol" seems like a person raising both his hand yelling isn't it! hehe that what i though first. but actually "lol" is an abbreviation stands for "laugh out loud"anyways hear another one LMAO stands for "laugh my asss out" its use if someone makes a really good joke and i makes you want to use the toilet coz something is comming out lolz hope it help in the chat lingo...SMILE ALWAYS...^_^

hi by now i certainly knw what lol means-i ha heard of lol before but never heard of lmao!
