Strange Habits

Yesterday I noticed the oddest thing. It was nice weather and I had my backdoor open for the fresh air. I don't own any cats anymore but am always willing to receive a nice cuddle when it's offered. Well all of a sudden a little black face was watching me use the computer. A bit of a fraidy cat he ran out when I moved. Once outside he gave a loud meouw. So I went out to see what was going on. Apparantly nothing. Later in the day I was in the kitchen and my little black neighbour passed by again. Nope no cuddle again but it did go outside and meouw. I just had to share that with you all! It also got me to wondering if your cats have any habits that are really weird and unexplicable.

One of my cats Sybil is a real character and teases the dog next door. She will sit on the fence and dangle her tail at her until she goes to jump up and then meows and jumps back into our garden, she will then wait til the dog has gone beack in and repeat this over and over just like a game. One of these days though.......... My other cat probably would if he could but he hasn't got a tail bless to do it with! Ellie :D

I have to say that is indeed something very odd to do. Yup one of these days it will happen! Ooooh Do you have a manx cat? Or is it just "an accident" that theother one doesn't have a tail?

No the other cat Wilfred had an accident with a car when he was jus a kitten and had to have his tail aputated not because the dog managed to get him LOL. Ellie :D

Everything cats do is weird and unexplicable! Maybe your little neighbor was just curious about what was inside and thought there might be a nice saucer of milk!

In that case this one would have been really dumb as he did that a couple of times. Wishful thinking on his part maybe? Unfortunately the milk did not magically appear for him. Guess that meow meant he was disappointed?
