Although I don't talk alot on my cell phone, I'm quite dependent on it. If I've left the house and I don't have it, I turn right back around and go get it. I consider it my safety net, in case the car stalls, or something like that. I think your mom is smart to remind you to take the cell phone with you. PearlGrace

HEY Dexterlab You are well aware that cell phone is a part and parcel of our life. We can not think to go outside without cell phone. I do not go outside without cell phone as I keep my cell fixed it on my belt so there is no question to forget. But occasionally I go outside without cell when there is an extreme emergency or when I charging my cell. If I forget then my younger sister always reminded me. pkc3000

Yeah, I can still leave without bringing my cellphone. I usually leave it behind if I don't feel like being contacted all the time, whenever I just want some time off. It's sometimes very stressful to bring along the cellphone because of thieves around. It's really stressful to always worry if your cellphone is missing or what. So, I don't usually bring my cellphone. Specially if I know that no important person would contact me on the duration of my trip for the day. =) It's sometime healthy not to bring the cellphone. You'll have and experience that freedom of worry and see the world as it is. Sometimes, the cellphone is one gadget that proves to be a bother and causes you to stress out. =)

i never forget my cell phone. Whether if im going hiking, or fishing or somewhere else i always take my cell phone with me. If i dont have it with me ill imediately get the feeling that something is missing. Its like so much attached to me i cant go anywhere without it. I sleep with it, eat with it, and sometimes take it to the bath room with me, that is ofcourse im in the mood to have bathtub phone call with my girl friend.

When I am home, I never carry my phone with me, it is in my purse in the bedroom, I never even know if it rings. No I don't take it outside with me, I do take my house phone outdoors with me. I only take my cell phone if I will be away from home.

The only time I go out without my cellphone is if I forget it. Other than that I always have it with me. I feel funny if I don't have it, like somethings going to happen now, since I didn't bring my phone...lol. Its wierd how that happens, I can't remember what it was like before I had one.

I think I can still go outside the house without cellphone but I would feel bothered and seems incomplete. Cellphone has became a way of life for me and it's my way of getting connected with my family, friends, and aquaintances. I very much fond of using my cellphone from early in the morning when I wake up until retiring late in the evening. I send sweet early morning greetings, contact anybody during the day through the SMS, and send sweet good nights. So I think I could still go outside without my cellphone since I have done it before when I still have one, but I will be feeling incomplete that I can't get connected with my friends and family while outside the house.

well,i can not go out without my cell phone. If i forget it,i will feel missing something, and worry about if there is someone called me,then i will go home as soon as possible. So when i am ready for going out,i must be sure that the cell phone is in my bag.I often ask myself do you catch the purse, the key and the cell phone when i will leave home.

Sometimes I might forget but I usually go back to get it, even if I've driven down the road. My family can't reach me if I don't have it. Gotsta have my cell phone!!

I have tried living without a cellphone for 2 weeks and it has worked for me somehow. I mean, people can reach me through online chat or email or through my landline. So, it does not really matter. :)

I CAN BUT I DON'T LIKE TO. I think it's not so convenient to leave the cellphone at home. I would like to take it with me all the time.

I only take it with me when I go outside because it's also my watch. If I ever find a watch that I like I will probably be leaving the cell phone at home a couple of times
