She's my best fren..and now she is asking me to accept her as girlfriend!!

I think the best marriages are between people who can consider themselves best friends! But even though you've never thought of her in a romantic way, could you? Now that she's declared her love, the ball is in your court. If she's not the type of girl you can see yourself in a committed romantic relationship with, you should let her know that now, and not let her think there is hope. She may value enough as a friend to back off, or she may not be able to be just friends with you. If you tell her you don't return her romantic feelings, that may be the end of the friendship anyway. If you do become romantically involved, that could end too! Or you could live happily ever after! I'm not being much help, am I? Life is a gamble. We're never really sure how it's going to turn out. Tell her how you honestly feel about her and let fate take it from there.
