HELP!!!! what am I doing wrong here lol lol

I am not sure if anyone else has added this but also it has been quiet here lately. Not many people have been coming on mylot, because of summer and possible various other reasonings. Just respond to other discussions, most will look at what you've started discussions on and return the favor.

sxrxnrr45601, welcome to mylot. First let me suggest that you spend the next week or so responding to discussions, the more your name is seen the more folks will know you and look for your responses. Learn from folks that have been here awhile. It is not at all that you are uninteresting it takes time to build a faithful friends list that will respond to your discussion... We have all been in your shoes. All wondered the same thing. I have been here almost 2 years and I still post flops.. I don't worry about it, I have a handful of very good friends that respond to me even if I am boring. So for now respond to discussions and learn from older members, that is the best advice I can offer... above all relax and have fun.

First of all let me take the time to welcome you to myLot! Once you get a lot of friends on here, more people will start commenting. It just takes time in the beginning. One thing you can do is start by making a lot of comments on other people's discussions. After you're here for a while, you'll get a niche for what gets responses. Good luck to you in the future!

A lot of people that are very busy will only respond to their friends discussions when they get an email saying one has been started. Since you have only six friends, you are severely limiting yourself, and your discussion will only be seen if someone is cruising that particular interest area, or if it shows up on 'top discussions' or something. Add friends - you'll notice that will change! (Sending you a friend request now). (OMG - are you really in Chillicothe?)

Not many of my posts get that many responses really, and it's hit and miss with them all! The title need to be attention grabbing and then the question following it to be straight to the point. And then also i fine it help to put your own opinion in there (why you asked the question/started the discussion) and then ask for people's opinions. hope it helps x

speaking for a newbie like you, do not focus yet on why you are not getting a lot of responses. just like what the experts said, we still have a long way to go. just enjoy responding to discussions first. once you get the hang of it, you will enjoy responding to discussions more than creating you own discussion. it is not that i am telling you not to start you own discussion. but my point is, i joined mylot so i can have something to do with my free time which is joining forums or discussions. and at the same time, earn money on what i am doing. so do not focus on how many responses you get. focus on how you can enjoy the benefits of reading discussions & responding to them. hope this helps. ;)

It takes time!!! Keep connecting to people, accept all friend requests, and just be active in the MyLot community. I see you have only responded to 47, and I am closing in on 10,000. I takes time to become established here on MyLot. Just don't give up, and keep on keeping on, and you'll get more responses in time.

You will also get response for your started discussions . Just wait for some time and always try to start discussion with some good subjects . You will get so many friends here and they will respond you , if you will give them reason for to do it .Another thing , you will get rating also .... Now these days most of the discussion coming about earning,love and mylot . So please try to take some another subject than repeat some one ... Thanks !!!

i had a discussion about what do you feel when you have zero responses on your discussion. and you will see that responses there of mylot members will help you. in my own views when you are still a new member there are posibilities that you wont have a lot of responses for you dont have a lot of friends yet. start responding to a lot of discussion in that way you will gain more friends. and those friends will help you one way or another to have responses on your discussion. welcome to mylot
