How many people here are single and like it?

I consider myself to be single. The generic term is divorced. I think that term is a stigma and I refuse to use it. I like not having to answer to someone else but I miss having a companion. I want to be with someone who would respect my space and allow me to be me. I do not want to be a caregiver/mother/obedient slave. I raised two daughters and an ex-husband and that was enough. The last guy I dated was 20 years older and I rean the other way when he came on like a love starved puppy. Besides, his driving scared the holy cr#p out of me. Maybe someday I will meet the right guy, whatever that means.

i am single and at peace with myself, doing my own thing and independent. i dont want to marry for the hell of it, only if i really like someone and it feels right. most people i met so far are just friends...havent met someone i can live the rest of my life with...

i am single, never been married and with no kids. honestly speaking, there are days that I will say I really like it being single and free to the true essence of the words...BUT sometimes I don't feel like staying single forever after all.

I am single and ejoy it very much. I have been in to many relationships that I've been hurt and ended up leaving my boyfriends for it. I sometimes get lonely seeing all these other couples together and kind of miss the feeling of loveing someone. I guess being sigle is good for now til I over come my fear of ever getting hurt again and can open my heart to that one special man out there.

i'm single and loving it - no pain,no worries, and free but "bitterness" is oftenly felt.

It has its pros and cons. No one to take up the majority of the bed or covers. The toilet seat is always down. No empty containers in the refridgerator. No one to snuggle with....wait, I want someone to snuggle with! I have been single for almost ten years now and I miss having someone to snuggle with. I guess I prefer to have someone but it just isn't happening right now.

I'm single. I've never been in a real relationship... Just occassional flings here and there. I love being single. I don't have to answer to anybody or say where I'll be going and what time I'll be back. I can do most anything. :D

I am still single, and like my present life now. But as I never have partners before, so I can not sure whether I will still like to keep single after have a boyfriends. My parents want me to find my another half soon, so that I will have enough experience in my life, and find out how wonderful life with partners. I like changes in my life, but it seems that now it is not the right tiem for it changes.

i am single.. now at present i like this.. becoz i have no responsibility , commitments ect.... but in future if i get that age to be married.. i have to... there is nothing like we "LIKE OR DISLIKE".. its our life and no way .. we have to lead... so i think i'll make myself to like my life.. and what about u?

yes!!i am single..i enjoy my life of being single..i hold my own time..and i can do anything that i want..i am free and i am enjoying every time of it...

I am single and I enjoy it. I can do what I want to do, no confusions whatsoever, nothing to worry about, and I got more experiences right now.

I am single, recently separated from my husband. I hate every minute of being alone, not that i would ever go back to him, right now the chance of that is very slim, but right now life is looking very dim. The lonliness is driving me crazy and worse of all i have a sick baby.

Chinese usually describe marriage as the besieged city.People who have never entered it are eager to get in as soon as possible while those have already entered wish to get rid of this shackle.I think both single and marriage have their pros and cons,they are just part of our life.

Well I really like being single, just being able to not have to please someone all the time, and yet I miss going out and doing things w/ my girlfrined and just having someone there who actually cares about my life. So I am kinda torn between in the end :\

Single?? I dont remember when i was single. Ive been with my girl friend for the past 3 years and my life is just wonderful. I love it really. I dont want to be single every. Cause thats boring. Imagine living single. Daah. Im really happy i got a caring loving understanding girl. We both love each other and we have the same type of thinking. Everyday is beautiful with her around.
