What have you to say, You must remember this A kiss is still a kiss A sigh is just a sigh The fundamental things apply As time goes by And when two lovers woo They still say I love you On that you can rely The world will always welcome lovers As time goes by

Uh huh Mo Mo, I love those old movies and yes I cry every time no matter how often I see them. I was just telling Kitty I have had alot of work the last couple of days and what time I was not working I was in bed with a hot water bottle.... arrrrrgggg and that blasted song is still going through my head... help me Rhonda!

Mo if you have not yet seen "August Rush" do so. It is well worth the price of rental or pay preview... Hang on to that Kleenex box however! I watched it last night... Oh my gosh. You will not be disappointed.

YES YES YES - See August Rush! Wonderful movie! I saw it a few weeks ago and I absolutely loved it! That Jonathan Rhyes Meyer, or however he spells it, is total drool material, god, I love him in The Tudors on Showtime too, as Henry VIII - wow, he rocks in that one too - so supremely kingly and sexy as butter in the bedroom.

Flowerchilde!!!! Yes! I just mentioned that song in a comment to Angel while ago. That's from Color My World, and yes, it's by Chicago, and it was my Senior Prom theme song, back in 1972! And now, now that you're near promise the love that I've waited to share and dream of our moments together color my world with hope of loving you. But it starts "as time goes on" not as time goes "by", sorry. Thank you for remembering, though - I'm not alone! Wow, what memories that brings..........

Could it be forever or is my mind just rambling on Well I touched you once and I kissed you once And I feel like you're mine Well I feel like you're mine and I see in your face I'm not wrong to have these feelings Well I feel like you're mine and I've never known a time before That's had so many meanings Could it be forever or is my mind just wasting time Well I don't think so because you let me know You make me feel like you're mine Well I feel like you're mine and I can't remember When the feelings have been stronger And all I know is I can't let go of you Or be with you just a little while longer All my feelings come together All I need is here Never know when I felt better Cause I know this won't disappear Could it be forever or is my mind just rambling on Well maybe it is and if it is I'll just be moving along Well I feel like you're mine and I see in your face I'm not wrong to have these feelings Well I feel like you're mine and I've never known a time before That's had so many meanings

Angel? Have you been watching old movies again?...LOL..actually i love that movie and it still makes me cry..but don't think those words would really make it anymore in the Song...don't know anyone that sighs or woo's..maybe i just hadn't been with the right person yet..LOL

I watched them both, Rosekitty. I have been covered up with work, not to mention stuck in the bed with a hot water bottle if you get my drift, and watching old movies.... LMAO Mo is getting quite tired of picking up my soggy kleenexs... This song is branded in my head, even now as I feel better I can not quite humming it.

I love that movie! I even love "sleepless in seattle" that was based on that movie.I have both movies on one tape! I have noticed that most men have no understanding at all what that movie is all about. The poor things just get that blank look on their face and looks at you like you are forcing them to sit in a torture chamber. Poor things, they are just without a clue!

Cj, I too like both versions of An Affair to Remember. I also adore Sleepless in Seattle. I know what you mean about the men thing. My husband has long quit going with me to the movies, he is a wasted ticket. He falls asleep before the previews are even over.

The last time my husband took me to the movies we (I) saw The Lake House. Before we ever went in i gave him permission to sleep through it. I figured that way when he went to sleep (no question that he was) i wouldn't get mad because i had told him he could. And you are right he was asleep before they had even started the opening previews and i woke him up after the lights came on!

Mimpi, I do write, I have a blog, however I have not added anything new as of late. I intend on rectifying that this weekend. These words are a refrain from a song in An affair to remember, an old movie I watched a few days ago, and it has been stuck in my head ever since. I was hoping that discussing it would take the tune away but it did not LMAO... Oh well nice try. http://angelwhispersasylum.blogspot.com/

this song has a very good melody. The way it was sang adds more romance to it.I like the way the words are put together. For me,it goes well with the song : Sharing the Night Together--some of it goes : "You're looking kinda lonely girl, would you like someone new to talk to, Oh yeah, alright. I'm feeling kinda lonely too. If you don't mind can i sit down here beside you.. Oh yeah, alright. If i seem to come on too strong, i hope you'd understand,I say these things, cause I'd like to know If you're as lonely as I am and if you mind Sharing the night together, wooh, yeah..alright.. we could bring in the morning girl if you want to go that far And if tomorrow find us together right here the way we are would you mind Sharing the night together oh yeah, alright..sharing the night together..." dang. i wish we could add the song here ( its frustrating, i can't yet..sob-sob). The song is hum drumming loudly in my head. LOL.
