Banquet frozen dinners

I was just in the kitchen finishing up the jell-o that I decided to make for desert tonight and I was kind of hungry. I looked in the freezer and I saw a Banquet frozen dinner in there. I don't buy them very often, but I keep one or two in the freezer for times when I don't feel like cooking anything for lunch. I had the Chicken Fried Steak with corn and mashed potatoes. Do you keep frozen dinners on hand? What brand do you buy? Do you have a favorite one?

I got a few awhile back because they were on sale for 69 cents each. You can't get much cheaper than that. I like the frozen pot pies too. I am glad that they made them so you can microwave them now. Back when they were in metal containers you had to cook them for like 30 minutes.

I usually have a frozen pizza or two in my freezer. Actually probably more like 10 when they are on sale. LOL This is what I usually make when I don't feel like cooking anything. The brand I buy is the Jack's Original. Sometimes I will pick up Tony's if they are on sale. It's a cheap, quick meal.

Jack's are pretty good. Tony's are ok, but not the greatest. They go on sale for pretty cheap around here sometimes, so I will buy a few. The thing with me and frozen pizza is, if they are in the house I will cook them and then consume them. I love pizza, but it is not really good for the waistline.

I like healthy choice or lean cuisine much better than 'banquet as they are lower in fat and salt and sugar too and I buy a variety of them for times whn I do not feel much like cooking. the healthy choice steak is really good and the beef stew, also I like Stouffers mac and cheese with brocolli it is really good, and their tuna noodel casserole is also good.Lean cuisine also has some really good ones, cannot think of all the good ones but they have a great selection.
