Is your life ruled by 'the stars'?

Do you think astrology is an accurate prediction of things to come? OR Do you think it's a load of codswallop? I am a Gemini and there am in two minds about lots of things, this included, so I would very much like your input. Thank you.

It's not because you're a gemini that you're in two minds, it's because you have a number of personalities. As one of my children is a Gemini and two are Libra, I think I've ended up with 6 personalities. The 2 Librans are very different so I don't think star signs rule.

I am Aries Dory. I think that i should have told you that in your other post. Anyway, I think that it is all rubbish. However, I know that millions of people do read their horoscopes daily. I read them too actually, or at least I do at the weekend when we have a paper. They are never specific, glance over the subject and "predict" nothing of consequence. I don't actually see how they can be anything else when you consider how many people will be reading them. I have considered people like Nostradamus as intriguing, but most of the modern day ones are, in my opinion, charlatans.

As a Libran, I am supposed to be balanced. I don't know about that. I think I probably am in a way. I mean, I am fair and open-minded so that makes sense. But, while a personal astrological reading might be more accurate, it is silly to think that our "stars" we read in the papers can be at all true considering that there are only 12 signs and there are more than 12 different sorts of people. I share my sign with people completely different from me as I am sure many people do. I wouldn't say that it is completely codswallop though. It probably depends more on whether yu believe in the first place. If, for example, your stars say something is going to happen and you believe in them then you might, even subconsciously, do something to make it happen whereas, if you do not have an inherant belief then you might think it's a load of rubbish and sit back waiting for things not to happen so when they don't happen, you will "prove" that it is not true.

By the way, did you know that the 12 "star" signs we use for horoscopes are actually "sun" signs. Our true star signs may be the same but can differ as well.
