Do you watch TV, while posting on MyLot?

I prefer doing multitsking. I do watch TV even when i am working on my computer. After a tidy working day i prefer to relax by watching the TV and listening to music. No matter which site i am browsing or even chatting with friends i just swtich on the TV and continue watching the sports channels as well as music channels. If there isnt some thing very much interesting then i would switch on to music and continue listening to music. I dont miss any cricket match on TV , as well as Manchester united's soccer matches.

Yes i always have the TV while being on the computer LOL its about the only time i watch the news. Besides by having the TV or radio on, you never know you might come up with a good discussion about the topics going on in the world today, and it will give you a idea of what to post online.Also you can get ideas about movies,actors or tv shows to also post on.

When my toddler is in here with me, sometimes the TV is on, but otherwise it generally isn't. I do listen to it if it's a show that I think I might have to explain anything in, but otherwise, it's just kind of background noise for me. Usually my son is watching a DVD, and they are all safe for him to watch, and I've already explained most things that need to be explained, so I can pretty well ignore the TV, and just pay attention to my son, and whatever I'm doing online.

I would if I could, but the computer is down stairs and there is only a little 13 inch TV/VCR down here that is not hooked up to regular dish programming. I do glance back and forth at whatever VHS tape my kids are watching while I am on here though. Right now it is a Winnie the Pooh movie.

The television is always on while I am posting but I hardly see or hear any of it! I just get that focused on what I am doing that I do not even hear it. I try to listen to music too when I am posting and that is hard to do to. I used to be fast typer, I wish I still was. I still know all my keys and do not have to look at the keyboard but I have slowed down a lot since then!

I try not to have the tv on while I'm doing my posting for I find it distracting and I find my self watching more of the tv than I do the posting. I find that I can have music on and I can post just fine w/ out any distractions.

I usually watch tv while I'm posting on Mylot. Sometimes it's a little hard to concentrate on one or the other. I think I do my best posting during the commercials! LOL I like to think about my responses and try to post something good, so that does distract me a bit from watching tv.

Hello beauty queen , Unfortunately i do not have my television and my pc in the same room , so i have to keep running back and forth if i need to watch something interesting on the T.V. But i always put my music on when i am posting. It keeps me going. Have a nice day, ~Pinks~

I always multitask when I am on the computer. Usually I have the TV on in the background and I listen to it and turn around to watch it when I have the chance. Right now I'm watching Kenan and Kel on The N. It was one of those old teen shows that was on ages ago that I used to watch so I'm watching it now and finding it just as amusing now as I did then.

My computer is in the living room and I have it on while i am on the computer, maybe just for the noise, but I like to watch Nick at NIght and TV Land, the older shows, so it plays and I listen and once in awhile take time out to watch what is happening. But then my hubby will come in and turn the channel to the SIFI channel and it drives me nuts, I have never seen such stupid shows and I can't seem to do anything from that point on, usually I get up and go to my bedroom and turn the tv on in there.

I almost always have the tv on whilst I am on mylot honey! I even have my recliner chair set so that i just have to look over the top of my laptop to see what is happening on the tv! xxx

This is probably one of the reasons for my many typos here on myLot and also why I spend so much time here instead of writing more of the the kind of articles that generate passive income instead--hubby practically lives with the TV on, I practically live with hubby. I don't really pay much attention to it, but I look up from the computer screen to rest my eyes and sort of see what is going on there. Once a TV program was so engrossing that I forgot to look back at the computer until the first commercial. Once! That was when the first episode of The Riches came on TV. Aa series that unusual can hardly survive though, so I'd better not get too attached to it as it will undoubtedly get canceled. Like you, when I learned to type we did not look at the keys. So I can just keep going with the hands and talk to somebody at the same time or watch a show or whatever, unless the other activity suddenly becomes particularly interesting.

I listen to radio (for news and music ) while posting ( or reading) in mylot. Sometimes, some funny ideas, or interesting topic come to me. So, I can post some interesting discussions here.

I can't listen to tv when I'm myloting. I just can't focus with it. I can't watch it too. All I can do is listen to the music, hehe. Cheers.

tv? no, i wouldnt be able to concentrate on the tv at all so might as well turn it off to save electricity. i can still listen to music while typing here at mylot, thats what i always do ,but to look at other stuff besides the keyboard or pc screen? i dont think i can be able to do that.

No I don't because my computer and TV are not in the same room. However, I should think it is not a big issue if I were to engage in both activities at the same time. I am quite a multi-tasker. But besides, neither activity is over-demanding in concentration. Cheers!

Funny that you ask, I'm doing that right now! I'm usually like never ever up in the morning so I would myLot at night on the pc upstairs. Now that I have a laptop and I find myself up in the mornings, I take sit by the window so I can look outside and enjoy the morning sunlight and I put the tv on MTv or some other music channel and watch the videos and myLot.

I don't have a TV but I do sometimes listen to the radio and, especially if I listen to a station on the internet, I find it difficult to listen and type at the same time. I find I have not heard what was being said on the radio because I was concentrating on what I was reading or writing at myLot. I really prefer to have no distractions when I am myLotting or doing anything else. If I watch a DVD on my laptop it has to be done away from my workdesk so I can relax and enjoy the movie.

It happen often that I am watching TV while posting on mylot. Even right now I am using my laptop on living room and watching a drama on TV. I mostly concentrate on the drama and I have to look at the key board while typing here, but I still can listen to what they says in the drama and look at it sometimes while typing at the same time. We have being trained to look at a paper while typing on word documents, but that was only for a while and not many students could do it in the end.

I don't watch tv at all :D what I always do while on the web. myLot or not, is listen to music. usually I listen to online radios.
