myLot Interface Seriously Lacking User Friendliness

I'm a brand new member here on myLot. I'm a regular forum poster/user on other forum sites. I have to say I seriously dislike the interface here, it's not very intuitive at all. It took me 3 weeks to find the time to sign-up and figure out how to do just 2 things. I'm still not finished configuring my profile but I swear there need to be an instruction guide right away immediately after signing up.

i don't know. i found the interface as you so called it pretty strait forward. i learned pretty quickly and if i didn't know something i just simply asked. i guess its just a matter of what your used to and how much your willing to explore. thankfully the person that referred me was able to answer any questions that i had so its been good here.

look up website forums designed using vB (virtual Bulletin) and the phpBB interface. Those are sooooo much better. This needs an interface upgrade badly. Even Stage6 had a better interface. I wouldn't mind donating 1% of my earnings or something like that to have the interface upgraded. Still what is needed more than an interface upgrade is better directions and easier to find directions. It took me hours before I accidently found out where to go to upload a photo for my avatar *sheesh*

even the FAQ section didn't tell you how to upload an avatar, what's up with that?

As much as I love you.....you always find the things to pick at don't you hun ? lol. Its not THAT bad here, there are worse and more confusing sites online. I'm no where near as gifted as you are when it comes to computers and stuff, and I got the hang of it within a few hours. It all depends on the amount of time you're willing to spend to get to know the workings of something. If you only joined as a favor to someone or out of curiosity(as I can tell you have by the fact that you haven't logged on in over 6 months lol), then its natural that you won't take the tme to familiarize yourself with the site and its workings. If a "dummy" like me can figure it out, then certainly a genius like you can...it just takes time and a willingness to want to know

I just finished typing 5 parags in reply and myLot turns around and says I'm not logged in, WTF???? well forget that I can't remember every word I typed and don't feel like typing it twice. Thanks again "myLoss"... BTW last time I logged in I had $1 on my account, today I logged in and it says 0ยข. They erase your earnings if you don't claim it in 6months?

I think it is kind of complex. I was lucky to have someone to guide me through it. If you need any help just send me a message and I'll be happy to help you, cause I too struggled at first getting it all straight.

I found the "edit profile" function to be a little difficult too. The interface may be a bit basic but I get along fine. I don't visit other forums, though. That may be my advantage. I never got used to using a user friendly interface. I'm sure you'll do fine once you get used to it. :)

I agree with you. It is not as user friendly as the previous one. It takes time to get used to it.
