I believe that laptops are ideal for working people who need a lot of mobility; if they are also set up with a wireless net that it is even better. I use the laptop in my room with my girlfriend when we sleep to listen to music and it is better by far then a desktop computer because it does not make loud noises and also it has a small size so it does not take much of the room. You can play games, even sophisticated graphics games, but i wouldn't recommend it due to the fact that laptops tend to overheat when they are extra solicited very hard. Desktop computers are ideal for people who don't need mobility and for people who love to play sophisticated games (high graphics games especially).

Laptop has its advantages like previous poster suggested (laying in the bed and using it), but I'll take desktop anytime - it's easier to work with, especially typing. And I don't like LCD screens; I still have old-fashion monitor. I use laptop only for vacations.

i'm using a laptop right now and i agree with what you've said. i also prefer using a desktop if i'm gonna be using it for long hours and for playing online games as well lol the advantage of desktop is that you can change or upgrade any parts of it whenever you like it but the disadvantage of this was it takes more space rather than the laptop. one thing that i hate about laptops is that if i wanna upgrade something in it, it only depends if it can be upgraded or not. i'm not that sure if the processor of the laptop can be changed though

You need to know the advantage and disadvantage for both laptop and desktop computers.Desktop computers are cheap and comes up better processor speed and suitable graphic card usually. But laptops are costly especially the one works fast where we get to get play games like counter strike on it.Laptops are mobile where we can bring it anywhere and receive wireless internet in a wifi area.Laptops consume less electricity. But bad things about them is that the repair or upgrade is too costly.Unless like desktop computers we can buy the hard disk at the computer shop and fix it ourself.Laptops have difficult keyboard which is flat and use touch pad to control and not using mouse like desktop computer. At last I leave it to you to choose according to the information I gave.

I have both a laptop and a desktop. But then my husband and I drive a truck cross country for a living and the laptop is my only computer and internet access when we are on the road. It allows us to keep in touch with family and friends, keep track of our loads, income, and expenses, and even helps us route our trips. Of course I do have a couple of computer games on it as well, and use it to process my digital photos. It is very handy for mobile computing.

I have a desktop which is better quality than most laptops or so I feel. laptops are moveable but as I do not really need a moveable computer I am happy with' my old trusty desktop computer.just as long as it works well I am completely satisfied with it. lol if I were a business person I might consider a laptop but I am not so no laptap for me.

I prefer laptop and it is more mobility. If you want to playing game better you get Playstation for me it is more convenient because some games requires you to upgrade hardware than it is cost you.
