This is something which we bearing a few cannot avoid - commuting to office.Daily I walk the way to the Station which takes me about 10 minutes. Then I catch a train to my destination which takes me exactly 1 hour. From there it is a 15 minute walk to my workplace. And it is the same thing while returning. So my daily commute consumes about 3 hours a day!!!! What about you people?

The office is a 15 - 20 minute drive, but I don't go directly there. First I drop my older daughter off at middle school, then I make a u-turn and drop the twins off at elementary school. Then I go to work, via the freeway if I'm in a hurry, otherwise on a lovely country road. Total trip: about 45 minutes.

I spent 30 years commuting to and from work by train, and it is only since I stopped doing it, that I realised how much it had been stressing me out over all those years. I used to spend 2 hours travelling to work, and another 2 hours travelling home - and that was on the good days, when there were no rail delays. When I think of all the time I must have wasted over those years through delays on public transport, it makes me cringe.

in beijing if without traffic jam it will spend me 40-60minutes from home to office, but today just about 300 meters road spent me 30 minutes so the time i spend on commuting will depand on the weather, the traffic jam ,and so on~~~
