The 2 terabyte hard drive will be really great for those who work with images, either video or photography. I find that most of my memory is taken up by video so I will definitely invest in one.Otherwise if you do not do any of these then a smaller back up hard drive is fine

Music and pics should not take up so much memory, besides you can always compress these for storage,so the 2 ter. is out of the question

Yeah, if its affordable I would get it. Still, would need to back up the data tho :D. 2tb crashing wouldn't be nice :D. Ok and defrag would take a helluva lot of time :D!

I have 3 hard drives in my computer, a 150 Gb EIDE drive and 2 160 Gb SATA drives, so my internal storage is more than adequate. However, I also have 2 external USB2 drives at 320 Gb each for archiving data and backups, which keeps them safe from the usual problems of system crash etcetera. I have actually considered the current 1 Tb drive, but 2 Tb is overboard even for a greedy person like myself.

I don't think I have a real need for such a large hard drive. I am now surviving on 160GB and that should be enough for the moment, but as I am doing graphics work, my free space is going faster these days, so perhaps one day I will upgrade the drive, but 2 terabytes is till too much for me. If someone were to give me one such huge drive, I certainly wouldn't mind it though.

My internal drive is 150GB. I also have two external drives, 250GB and 320GB. The 250GB drive is for music and videos, and it's now full. The 320GB drive is for my photography. A 2TB drive would be phenomenal. If only I could ever justify the expense.
