Ok I hate the simpsons!

I really do hate this show. I posted this in the general hoping that someone would come and give me a really good reason to come around and not hate the show, but no one did, everyone that responded to me agreed that they too did not like the show. So you are all fans, please tell me why this show is so great! Please make me understand why I should turn on the television on Sunday night and watch this!! Everyone in my house loves this show and I either have to sit here and stare at the tv and act like I am watching, or go to a different room.
Please make me want to watch this show!!

The funny thing I ind about the Simpsons is that it appeals to the low-brow, the Genius, and every group between those two extremes. It makes the genius think, and it makes others laugh at it's sick humour.

I guess I never thought of it that way, but I still don't understand why adults would want to sit around and watch cartoons.
