What's the first Lan or network game that you have played?
Mine was counterstrike. I really had fun because I first played it with my cousin and his friends.

Hi,Nayna you are talking 'bout one of my favorite 5 games.
Ya, when I started playing PC games, I didn't like this game. 'cos it doesn't have any storyline, same stage has to be played again 'n again, was playing with BOTs with fixed AI. When I'd come to know the meaning of LAN game, It became my favorite game. I first played it in a cyber cafe. I play
it everyday 1800 hrs. to 0100 hrs. on internet. According
to a site my addiction is 80%. To me C.S. stands of Counter Strike only, neither Computer Science nor Control System.
All I'm talking 'bout is C.S. 1.6 not C.S.S.

I haven't tried playing counterstrike online. I only played in our internet cafe, with the players in our shop. It is fun though and we used to put bets when we play.

counter strike is much more fun when u play it with your friends. even just 6 players in the game make it really fun.
it's not that much fun to play over the internet since the other players are all strangers. its another joy to play on LAN with your friends.

yeah, that's the first game i played as well on LAN, with my friends. and i hated it initially lol. just imagine someone playing this game for the first time against skilled players.
but i really liked call of duty 2's multiplayer since i found it easier to learn and play. the game was comparatively slow than counter strike but it was real fun. but didnt get to play it that much since some of my friends didnt like to play it much.
well i practiced playing with bots and friends and got better at counter strike. i am a better player now and i actually like this game.

The 1st LAN game I ever played was Doom I. hehehehehe No mouse and no tilting your view upwards.I think it was one of the earliest games to go LAN. Unlike most multiplayer first shooter games out there now, It had a Coop mode. It was nice..
By the way, It was still on the old DOS enviroment. :)

Oh, I see. That's why I haven't tried playing that yet. I think I have played games on DOS too like Pre Historic 2 and Super Mario.

Me too Counterstrike the first LAN game i played. I'm also became addict on it I spend 2-3 hours playing it in a internet cafe.
